That's pretty interesting! What sort of metal work in particular? I just came across an article online where cities had like clubs of people interested in that sort of thing. They'd get together, pay club dues, and just work on their projects at the workshops. There were different sorts too. Some geared more towards technology, some more generalized. It looked incredibly interesting, especially to me since for a time I'd been interested in engineering... Anyway, I can understand why you prefer living on your own then. And, of course, you have to leave the nest someday, right? It's neat you're interested in history. It's not a subject I find very interesting in school either, but perhaps that's because you're restricted to what your curriculum entails then. When you're free to pick any time, place, and subject, suddenly you realize how amazing the past is. The history of art sounds like something I'd study for the fun of it though. To be honest, I've never picked up a Real history book. Historical fiction is my favorite genre, but at the end of the day it's still fiction.

My goodnes, you always make me fear living on my own. It seems like so many setbacks come your way. I suppose it's good, at least, that you have projects to occupy your time. But, [hits on the head] starting too many will lead to never finishing any. This is the fault of many a grown man. It sounds like it's been rough up there, though. :C But I guess it's good at least you have your library. Tell me, what parts of history do your books cover? Or are you simply collecting those you can, with no special interest in what time period they cover?

Because it's such a beautiful color, of course. And those are always the hardest to work with.
Where've you been all this time?! Hello to you as well, but you've been greatly missed. (:

That'd be odd. /: I can imagine a whole lot of culture shock.

I mean outsiders, new blood. I don't think the inhabitants of Ailon would like them much either.~ [wonders how the citizens would take their worlds being turned upside-down]

Ahhh. [nods] That sounds a lot more interesting. XD [can see a few treasure-seeking character concepts] I'd want to totally recreate the thread though, new profiles, new coding, everything. I think we've improved a lot since then. XD

[nods] I got your PM. [was thinking it over] It's a really good idea. So, if I get it correctly, we could start over wiith new characters in a new part of Ailon?

I was actually looking at doing so. I spoke to DDNinja about it a while ago. He wanted to continue the plot. I think we'd have to start clean-ish though. /: Too many side plots and seemingly no main. Plus, my character was a bit of a Mary-Sue. D: [would have to fix her] I'd put the time into it though. [nod]

Well, if you do make one let me know, I'll take a look at it. I haven't really found anything that you're looking for.. Most RPs tend to be really fast-paced during their first weeks, then they slow down as a result of less activity.. Usually by my own fault. >>
