she returned the kiss and wriggled out of his grasp, pulling the blanket up to his chin. she hummed a low melodic tune inducing agood sleep. "better, chee?" she smiled.

"I'm sorry, I often forget that you do get cold. the cold doesnt seem to bother me too much.." she gave him an apologetic look. " you miss me too much and yet I dont get to see you too often.." she dropped the blanket and folded her arms behind her neatly and innocently. "I'm glad to see that your doing well, chee" she gave a slight smile..

- lol ahhh alright, but only because your so persistant X]-

Jacob turned and took on the form of his 15 year old sister, hope, slipping into the form in which he had last seen her. that old blue dress that went to her knee's, long black hair, white kneehighs and black dress shoes... he adopted her scent and her voice, a near perfect duplication. she knelt down and grabbed the edges of the blanket at his feet and tugged the blanket off him..

- im going to say 'she' so i dont confuse myself i hope thats alright 8o-

jacob got to his feet, the last he had seen Hope she had fallen into a long comatose sleep after the removal and defeat of aleister, would it hurt if he saw her? or would it hurt more if he told shaolin the truth about her? he stepped out and stood at the opening of the tent and peered in at him..he took a deep breath and closed his eyes a moment in deep thought. but then what shaolin didnt know about her wouldnt hurt him right? the night had been long and seemed to drag on..he looked back at him before making up his mind..

he wasnt trying to maul him this time.. jacob was actually thankful for that and he absently hummed his own slight tune as he waited for the sun to rise to put an end to the long night..

He suddenly wondered if his friend ever had a bad dream. he reached down and tousled his hair to settle him. and pulled the blanket further over him to keep him warm from the cold of the outdoors..shaolin didnt seem so bad when he was asleep. he gave a slight chuckle at the thought..

jacob unzipped the tent and slipped inside he crawled in next to shaolin and sat down. he watched as he was sprawled out on the floor, snoring..

it was not long after he was sure shaolin was asleep that her scrambled up to the back of the tent an yelled, shaking it a little as he did so.

he turned and kicked out the fire, kicking sand onto the fire until it went out. he stepped forward and sat 3 feet from the edge of the forest. daring the owner of the eyes to step forward, he sat until the offender finally decided to leave.. but he never budged from his seat.
