Peter finished picking the raisins out of his bagel and continued to eat the bagel, without worrying about the more raisins. "Come on, if you're gonna say something say it already." Peter reached over and started petting Pierce's ears again, trying to calm him down so he could understand what he was mumbling. "Quit mumbling and eating for a moment, just answer, whats bothering you so much?"

"I didn't say it was okay to pounce on you" Peter started picking at the bagel, he had picked up one with raisins and started picking them out and dropping them onto the other pastries. Peter started to eat the bagel, and looked at Pierce, who was now frowning. "What? Is the bagel bothering you? or is it that I stopped rubbing your ears?"

Peter jumped slightly at Pierce's purr, startled by how he had reacted. "If you keep moving your ears back I cant reach them you know." Peter stopped rubbing Pierce's ears for a moment, picked up the pastries and handed them to Pierce. "I can see why they think its funny, you have the strangest reactions to things."

"Uh, sure. . . . I guess" Peter was slightly shocked by the request, since it was a strange request from Pierce. He started rubbing Pierce's ears, slightly uncomfortable with the irrational mood swings and the openness. "So you're getting jumped by whom most of the time?"

"And you know me better by ten minutes or so?" Peter gave Pierce an unimpressed look, and sighed. He loosened his grip on Pierce's ears until he noticed they were still slightly still twitching, so he kept his hands lightly on his ears. "You get scared really easily, hmm?"

"Lonely? Well theres usually no one around worth the time because no one visits." Peter noticed that Pierces ears were flitting about like crazy, probably because he was nervous. But the ears were distracting, so he grabbed Pierce's ears and held them down, letting the wrapped pastries hit the ground. " Stop the twitching for a moment. Its strange that you call me nice though, no one really does." After stating this Peter gave a faint smile to Pierce, but was still holding his ears down.

"Is that it? I think your hunger got the best of you . . . ." Peter munched on his bagel some more, and checked the time. "We should get out of here, the placeholders and probably the Queen will be in here shortly." Peter grabbed a few random pastries and wrapped them in one of the extra napkins on the table. After a few moments Peter heard some footsteps so he grabbed Pierce's arm and rushed out of the hall and around a few corners till he couldnt hear anymore footsteps.

Peter kept walking slowly, sliently for awhile. "Well . . . . . . .heres the dining hall." He made sure that none of the placeholders were inside before he walked in and grabbed a bagel. Peter started eating his bagel while staring at the ground. "So . . . . you were saying?"

Peter froze, and thought this over for a moment. Pierce had been acting like this the entire time, and Peter was too ignorant to notice any of it. Peter had stopped wlaking while thinking this over, and slowly began walking to the dining hall, at snails pace, still shocked. "And. . . . . when did this occur to you. . .?"

Peter felt slightly crowded with Pierce following so closely, the adoring looks didnt help that feeling either. He turned a corner, and sped up a little, to try and put a little space between Pierce's giddy expressions and himself. "Its good that you finally made up your mind and all, but is there some reason you're following so closely?" Peter turned his head to face Pierce for an answer, while continuing to walk.

"Well then, come on. At this rate we might be able to get to the dining hall and grab something to eat. Never finished that bagel . . . ."Peter droned on to himself, slightly angrering himself thinking over how he lost his first breakfast to the placeholders and now has to get another. Ignoring Pierce's flustering, Peter started to walk towards the dining hall, slowly. He walked so that even if Pierce started to look around he couldn't get lost.

"OKAY!" Peter got himself up before Pierce could practically pick him up. "Make up your mind already! One moment you're scared, then you're sheepish, then you jump at me. You only kncoked me over cause you startled me!" Peter dusted himself off and fixed his shirt again, and sighed. "Do you want any food or not?"
