Hello Miss Gaia Nations 2012 contestants! I’ve decided to start the pageant earlier so you can relax on the next days (Christmas days). The first round is the National Costume round! You should dress your avi with a costume from your country and with items that represent it in some way. Remember to be very creative and to combine all items. You will need a TITLE and a DESCRIPTION for this round in which you will explain your national costume. Remember it’s a beauty pageant and your avi needs to look pretty, items that don’t belong to the theme will take points. The deadline for this round is January 8 so you have plenty of time to submit your entry. Please post in my profile your description when you are ready. Only 28 contestants will move on to the next round. Any doubts please tell me! Good luck!

Title: Rainbow intersection… Where traditions and modernity meet
Hi! This is Miss South Africa! My costume highlights my country’s most important aspects! My clothes represent the different tribes of South Africa; we have more than 8 official languages since we are a very diverse country! My skirt has my nation’s flag colors; we call it the rainbow flag! My earrings are made of gold which are mined in South Africa and provide wealth and money to the country. My background is also a mine, since many other minerals are mined throughout South Africa some of them are diamonds, uranium, and silver. I have a leopard also in my avi, since we have many wild animals in the savannah such as lions, monkeys and obviously leopards! I hold a famous vuvuzela, an instrument that was used in the 2010 FIFA World Cup which was the most important event held in my country and symbolizes the development my country has shown in the last decades. Welcome to South Africa, the rainbow intersection where traditions and modernity meet! Thanks!

Hello Miss Gaia Nations 2012 contestants! With only a month for the pageant to begin the first award is getting closer: the Pre-pageant contestants’ favorite award. You should vote for the delegate you think has more chances on winning the crown (They’re in my profile). The first 3 places will receive some gold! Only contestants can vote for this award. If for any reason a delegate withdraws before the pageant the contestants who voted for her will be allowed to vote again. Also, if a delegate doesn’t end up competing for some reason, her votes will not be counted. Post in my profile to vote for your favorite! The winners of this award will be revealed along with the scores of the national costume round!

Congratulations! You are one of the 28 lucky delegates that have advanced to the next round: the cocktail dress competition. For this round you should dress your avi with a nice cocktail dress (SHORT dress), heels, accessories, and a purse or bag. Don’t forget to be very creative, combine your items, and to have a WINTER theme. Points will be taken off if items that are not compatible with the round are shown, as well with hair color and style. Remember it’s a beauty pageant and your avi must show confidence in her face. Hello Miss Gaia Winter 2011 delegates! This is the official announcement of the opening of the pageant! The first round is the Fantasy Costume competition. The avi you must submit needs to be a fictional character created by yourself with a story and description. You must be very creative, combine all your items, use Christmas/winter items, and make your avi look complete. Items that don’t belong to the theme will take off points from you. Remember it’s a pageant; your avi needs to look very beautiful. The deadline is September 11. Only 28 lucky contestants with the highest scores will get through the next round. Ladies!! this is it, Miss Gaia Universe2011 have started with the traditional national costume parade. In this round you must create a national costume representing the country you chose, the costume must represent traditional things about the country, monuments, history characters, islands, everything it is creative as long it represents the country somehow. This round is 45% over the final score so good luck. This round ill be judging
