oh hey adam well im going slow since my arm was cut deeply land it hurts hell, god why does always it have to be me.
i was passing through a building which then metal fell on my arm and made a huge cut, and also 3 more people were hurt as well ><

e.e; Well, in my native language, we have this phrase about long distance romances that goes something like "Love from afar, love from idiots." I just thought you should know, and no, I'm not calling you an idiot, so don't worry about that. God willing, though, you'll learn without much pain, but hey! A year and a month for a long distance relationship is pretty good. biggrin

I can suggest you don't question what you have going now (considering the thingies I already told you that might get your gears going), but I wouldn't be truthful to you if I didn't tell you that it's incredibly difficult to keep it going because of that yearning to be together and close that distance between you. You risk a lot by trusting without being able to be a part of your other half's offline life, and especially you risk being incredibly emotionally hurt if things go to pot, but if she trusts you and loves you just as much as you love and trust her, then you'll be fine with or without the distance in between. I -do- also have a friend who was long-distance dating her husband, and so far they've been successful at staying together. (They moved in about two years ago, and dated for a good five years or so before that, so they're quite lucky!)

Personally, I can vouch on their behalf that a long distance relationship can be successful if given enough attention and care, but honestly, the chances of a success are about 20% or so. Keep working on it, do what you're both doing for each other, make time to talk and understand each other, and I'm pretty sure you'll be alright in the long run.

As for me, I might try a long-distance thing, but I really wouldn't recommend it. ):

Well, at least you're not 20 and she's 13, because OUCH. Bad idea, what with that whole parental consent and child molestation thing regarding the age differences and all. @_@

God's with you both on that long distance relationship thing, though. Yearning makes the heart grow fonder, certainly, but too much can be heartbreaking and ultimately may lead to all sorts of random paranoia episodes. I hope that doesn't happen with either of you, but that's the risk one takes when they take under their wing someone who's so far away. Be careful about that, the both of you. <3

As for things you might want to do with your girlfriend on V-day, depending on what her tastes are, you might want to consider what options you've got open. For example, if she likes animals or the outdoors, maybe you could take her somewhere where you've got both things (maybe make it a romantic picnic if the weather cooperates on that day). You could pack some blankets and even a large pillow if you decide to hang out after dusk sets in. Star gaze, etc. Planetarium if there's one around (or just get your hands on some binoculars, haha). It really all depends on what her tastes are and what type of girl she is (like does she gravitate towards romance?)
