Apparently Microsoft used a temp. fix for the Y2K bug on the 30 GGB version and at the start of this year it wore off. They're using another temp. fix now and it's supposed to happen again in 2012 if they don't fix it before then.

But if you believe in mythology, profits, or the Aztec calendar, the world (as we know it) is going to end in 2012 so it doesn't matter anyway. LOL
