I have always been "on my own" solidarity is something I'm far too intimate with. Perhaps one would question why being creative in music has anything to do with the influence of people? I do everything myself because no one wants to be involved in my creativity. I ask them and they would decline because they are inhibited for reasons not known to me. When one does want involvement they would take the easy way and demand a cut for no effort on their on part. We are trained to think musicians are some kind of magical revenue generator. I create music for art not money, but many fall prey to thinking that playing rock music makes you a "somebody" and is a way to live without having to work a normal job. I am content without the influence of others if they choose to be a leech rather than support my art form. In time I will continue to find others to support me, for all I know you are probably one of them.

I have a day job and have plenty of annoying people to contend with. This however does not impede or stop me from doing what I am doing. Honestly the hardest thing to deal with is the fact that I have only one person who supports me. At the same time they are afraid of the music I do for myself. People will always try to sway you in their direction because they are unable to do it themselves. As for me I'm going full speed ahead and leaving everyone else behind. I think you would agree that it would be a waist of time to allow some misguided fools hold you back?

Since you have been patient and considerate I shall tell you. I'm actually 22 and a beginner at guitar. I have been playing bass for six months (or more I can't remember) and guitar for about 4 months. I'm guessing you have read my previous posts in the music forum. It is true how much I practice though, because music is the most important thing to me. I'm not some kind of musical prodigy or anything, just really, really dedicated to music. I just completed my first (ambient) music album (six songs) already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-vS7RnwfLM&feature=related this track is a fairly good representation of what I can do (at the moment because I can do this song and I sound very close to this). I am also able to solo with pentatonic scale as well so I'm not all about power cords and standard cords.

I hope this answers your questions. I'm am actually curious as to why you wanted to know.
