heya snoozey!
sorry for replying so late- I actually thought I sent my reply a while ago but just realized that nah I didn't
I was probably tired and didn't finish the comment or something?

anyway you mentioned that you went to the hospital a week or so ago- are you alright??
but i'm happy to know everything's good!

i've been fine- procrastinating on homework, gaming, the usual emotion_brofist

No rush! I may start being slow with replies, tbh, I'm not exactly feeling well right now and have been lying down most of today. orz
AND OMG THAT IS ADORABLE THANK YOOOOUUUUUU <33333
Also, forgot to mention about 1681: Its square root is 41. 41 also splits into two perfect squares when cut down the middle (both 4 and 1 are perfect squares), though sadly, it is itself not a perfect square. (It is prime, though!)

The best teacher, I guess, really is experience. 3nodding
Both my parents were teachers at one point, though only my mum stuck with it. My dad gave up after a few years and moved to IT. lol
(And then my mum's sisters are also teachers. Really runs in the family.)
I guess a lot of it is mindset, yes. You have to have some goal at least in mind, even if you may be a bit disorganized.
And I think the big part of it is you have to know your students. It's hard to do that when you're teaching large classes, but I find it helps me be very effective if I know which students are good, which ones are struggling, etc. Even in my advanced class, some of my students are just so ahead of the curve that I give them fun little projects after, while I open myself to consultation for the slower students.

I can't blame you. Math isn't exactly easy to teach, especially because the best stuff really needs the students to have been properly trained since childhood.
I run a pretty fun class, but it's for advanced students. I don't think I can get away with what I do once I handle a standard class.

16 is a perfect square, that's always nice...
16 is also a substring of 169 and 1681. (Cool part about 1681: Cut it down the middle, and 16 and 81 are both squares. 1681 is itself a perfect square.
And then, 169 is cool because 1, 16, 169 are squares, so is 9, and if you reverse 169 you get 961 which is also a perfect square.)
Also, 16 = 2^4 = 4^2, the unique positive integer that can be expressed as a^b and b^a where a and b are distinct positive integers.
(When you're in charge of making problems for lots of things you tend to memorize cool number facts.)
And this doesn't count for much but 1/6 = .166666666...

I don't use Skype, sadly... I might have to change that at some point. Lots of people are on it. sweatdrop
Just I have a ton of social media as is and my computer does not play nice with programs that sit in the taskbar...

"Really, now?"
*Blows behind ear once more, before slipping it between its lips with a light n***

"Don't I need to exhaust you first?" *cheeky smile*
----
Pfft, I know the feels. Pretending to be a proper, responsible student who doesn't procrastinate can take a lot of time /cough
Hide those youtube videos behind the notes in the library, aha? C;
Also just one here~ ;> The extra was just a way to initiate some OOC talk.
We've never talked before though I believe: so hey! And I've been doing decent. Lots of work and projects but getting through.
college problems /sobs

Love your avi by the way! It's so cute and pretty and a h~ <3
Those little ears and the face is so cute >v<

Tbh, I didn't do much with pedagogics--I learned all I know about classroom management by feel, by watching the teachers I admired and from my mother.
And some books she had. I taught a math class for a while, as I said, though it wasn't a full-time thing.
I've got little formal training as a teacher though that hasn't been a requirement for me. Just experience handling advanced math classes and a sense of humor, and some degree of patience. *w*

You're welcome! I believe in you~ emotion_kirakira
And thank you, thank you~ Though you can't picture me in a classroom teaching math? xd

Honestly, if I had to explain all the ways I knew their beauty, I would take forever.
Here's a simple one we take for granted--they're the only two numbers such that if we raise them to any power/keep multiplying them by themselves, they are the same.
Like 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 = 1, 0 x 0 x 0 x 0 = 0, and this doesn't change no matter how many times you multiply them.
A simple proof: they are solutions of the equation x^n = x which factors into x^(n-1)(x - 1) and the only possible roots are x = 0 or x - 1 = 0 meaning x = 1.
1 and 0 are also what you would consider identity elements--1 is the multiplicative identity, because anything x 1 stays the same, while 0 is the additive identity, because anything + 0 stays the same.
I'll probably do some mathematical writing on this, but I might end up going off on random tangents. So easy to do that because everything is so beautifully connected in mathematics. *w*
Anyway, if you're interested in beautiful numbers, I'll leave this here. Fantastic answers. *w*

Sunday nights are usually my worst (coz weekend is over | | ^ | | ) but tonight is going well c:

The one you drew, I'd definitely have back on (its my I-can't-be-creative-so-I'll-have-this-avi-on-forever look hehehe)

Gosh tell me about it ._. its always trial and error and when they do work, the item is not in my inventory, not in the MP or someone's selling at some ridiculous price for an item I'd use once lol

Me neither actually .. I tend to be really awkward. But its a good way to tidy up my inventory and just chat with friends so I thought why not.

And here's the link~ most of the people who post there are just my friends really :C (haven't been gathering people from the new gaians forum etc in a while so...)

How's your weekend been?

I'm glad you're doing fine! Pedagogics, huh? awesome~
I'm sure you'll become a fantastic teacher. emotion_kirakira

I'm curious myself about that now. There are many ways in which 0 and 1 are beautiful on their own, and even more together.

O: excuse moi~ but I am not pretending ! hmph lol
And thank you <333 Lifting my mood up these past few days have been a hassle to say the least.
But I got there! ^_^
I'm definitely flattered that you remembered my avi in class of all places.

Mk I'm gonna try play around with some items c: the layering of background items can be such a pain though ; ^ ;

Also, thou shalt visit my giveaway thread sometime (like yaknow when bored in class lol jk) - there's music and a lot of cute animal (mostly cats) gif ehehe

WHY YOU MAKE ME HAPPY ;^;

I accepted the challenge (I set myself) and made another sitting down avi! I really like the effect of this one ...except I can't seem to find the item to break the big bulky black area at the bottom half ._.

AND THANK YOU ! <3333
