Haha. I know, right? Especially since it's a small town in the boondocks, so it's not like there are that many teens interested in reading around here, so why it got stolen twice is beyond me. My aunt said her library had books being stolen and resold on eBay, so maybe that's where they've gone... I don't know, but if they're stealing to read it, I mean, seriously. It's a free, PUBLIC library. Who needs to steal when you can just check it out for as long as you want and almost whenever you want?????? You should steal a candy bar before a library book... It's just pathetic and irritating because the thief happens to have excellent taste (ie, my taste in books, so they're always GONE... crying )... It's kind of funny though, in its pathetic-ness.

Nah. I buy so many books that I can't afford hardcovers, so I've got to wait for the paperback version to come out... Though I have been thinking of requesting an inter-library loan, but I'm not sure if my library's started to charge for that or not... (I'm kind of a cheapskate when it comes to books, but... I can't help it. sweatdrop I'm addicted. biggrin )

I just wish my library would hurry up and buy a third copy of the City of Glass so that I can read it already!!! I don't want to wait until August to get in paperback, but it sure looks like that's what I'm going to have to do... D:

Agreed. Vampires are becoming overrated. And I hadn't realized Clare was continuing (sort of) the series!! That is GREAT news! I think that literally just made my day. biggrin
As for Graceling, after Fire, I think there's also another sequel called Bitterblue.

Nice. My English teacher has signs up all over his room saying "Stop talking, picking up a book" etc. and I always read in class, so I'm still waiting for the day when he tells me to put my book away and I can quote that poster back to him... *evil grin* rofl So, if you're avoiding the vampire ones, am I safe in assuming you don't like Twilight? biggrin I don't know if you've read any of these, but here are a couple of recommendations (if you want them... biggrin ):
-The Mortal Instruments series - Cassandra Clare
- The Gemma Doyle trilogy - Libba Bray
- The Sweep series - Cate Tiernan
- Keys to the Kingdom series - Garth Nix
- Graceling - Kristin Cashore
- The Secret Circle series - LJ Smith
What books do you get in the Greek mythology genre? I can only remember Troy by Adele Geras, Goddess of Yesterday by Caroline B. Cooney and the Percy Jackson series... Any recommendations in that area for me???
