I am a German guy. I'm engaged to a beautiful, sexy and all around amazing young woman; and very happily so (So please don't get any ideas). I'm an avid artist; I love to draw and write (short-stories and poetry). I have been told by people that I have a great singing voice. I suppose I really don't trust it, but, I take my small indulgences where I can get them. As the picture of me would suggest; I am semi-goth/rocker. I try to be a calm and collected person, but, sometimes my rage issues get the best of me. I don't much care for people who whine about small things. Most often, I'm just a quiet, observant person. I do have a weird sense of humor that has bitten me in the butt before, so, if I say something that sounds off don't hesitate to ask me to rephrase my words. I'm not really sure what else to say.. sweatdrop

To be fair, Lady Gaga tried something different with her awful hair and terrible costuming, and there are as many people that hate it as there are that like it. Maybe the rest of them are afraid to end up like her. XD I think North America is a lot more critical of anything new as well. Not to mention I'm not sure how well it would go over if a band member was always in very obvious drag over here.

There's a country artist whose name escapes me right now, but they changed his name and tried to scrub records of him singing before he hit the big time because he was performing as an openly gay artist with his boyfriend, and they didn't want that tainting his image as a good 'ol country boy. I don't think the North American music industry is quite ready to accept it just yet.

I actually find most of those band members rather pretty. The lead just gets more camera time.
It's too bad there aren't more north american bands that put as much effort into their costuming and appearance. Or at least, they aren't as wild and out there with their outfits if they do.

So, I noticed for the first time today that you have a video on your profile. XD What's more, it's D! I haven't listened to them in a very long time. Since.... I don't even know when anymore. I feel like i was still 15 at the time. I used to love Yami Yori Kurai Doukoku no Acapella to Bara Yori Akai Jounetsu no Aria. (long name, I know...). Not sure if it was the song so much as the guy spending half the video on his knees but... XD Still a good song.
