Oooh, that's some nice craftsmanship! I really like the wine jug, black and blue vase, and black and red vase 3nodding Really beautiful, I'd furnish my house with those if you know what I mean ;D (??? dunno where that came from) That fountain idea sounds cool, you should put up a pic when you make it 8D

I know what you mean about not thinking outside the box...I tend to do that too much. I don't like trying new things very much 'cause I don't want them to come out bad sad I haven't done much stuff lately and I really want to get drawing again--I don't want my uber skillz (<-yeah right) to fade! gonk

Lol, I always thought it would be fun to try and make a claymation-type film, but I don't really know how, so it'd be horrible (though probably not much more horrible than my usual homemade movies).
That sucks that you weren't encouraged to do anything 2D sad That's the only thing I CAN do, lol. I wish I could try some 3D stuff, but I'm not very good with my hands *clumsy* and I don't have the software to do 3d graphic art. Well, *I'M* encouraging you, so there! Show me more pictures! X]

Lol, yeah, I always feel so incompetent when I hear people's success stories, especially if they're young, like in their teens or early 20s, 'cause they're all successful and...what am *I* doing? Argh, and yeah, I hate it when you find someone who did something similar to you, 'cause then I feel like I'm being unoriginal and boring gonk

Do you usually make certain things with clay, or are you all over the place? xd That's cool that people want 'em. Maybe if you have a garage sale or something you can have your own little area where you can sell your clay stuff. Do you paint them too?

Lol, yeah, I know what you mean xd
If someone asks me to draw or paint something for them, unless I do it right THEN I'll just say "Yeah, I'll do it" and keep putting it off. And then I feel guilty for not doing it sad I usually don't like getting requests anyways. Like some of my friends always ask me to draw them, and I realllllly don't like drawing people I know IRL... But I can't say no, you know? But inside I'm like "Rargh! I'll draw you when I wanna draw you, and not before!" scream Or when you try to branch out in one area and people will latch onto it and keep wanting you to do it. Like I just randomly drew naked people (censored though sweatdrop ) and my friends kept on wanting me to draw them nakies! I mean, geez, people >:O It got to where I was known as the-girl-who-draws-naked-people, which I didn't like at all. It made me not want to draw naked people anymore. So much for branching out.
Anyways, sorry, didn't mean to rant xd
I'm the same way about not doing stuff. If I don't do it immediately, and if I don't finish, then it never gets done. Or it gets done months/years later ninja

Lol, yeah, I'm always getting paint on SOMETHING (last time it was a pillow >_> wink . I'm super lazy too (another reason why I usually just use pens or pencils, lol, they're right THERE and I don't have to do anything special to use them). I'm trying to finish a painting for a friend, but I just don't have much motivation. Like once I'm doing it, I get all into it and stuff, but once I stop...it's really hard to start up again. I'm like that with lots of things (like reading).
Maybe it's just because I hate change, lol rofl

Lol, yeah, the pastels I got were probably not the best quality. I just don't understand charcoal and pastels and can never get them to do what I want scream And I end up getting them all over my hands, arms, and clothes. Do not want!

I usually use pens or pencils, they're the most practical for me. I usually draw, but I like painting too, I just can't ever seem to find the time to do it. I have to fix up all my paints and it has to be on a sunny day so I get good lighting...with drawing I can do that anywhere. I mostly draw anime or dragons (and now, kitties xd ), but I'm trying to practice more on still life and scenery. I really suck at buildings or anything that requires straight lines, lol

Lol, I'm really paranoid about my teeth going bad so I try to take really good care of them xp
You make working with clay sound fun xd Have you ever done anything with charcoal/pastels? I despise them so much! >=O I hate the grating sound they make when you scrape them along a piece of paper. Like nails on a chalkboard, but on a miniature scale. Blech. Kinda sounds like filing your nails feel. I haaaaaaaaate filing my nails >_<
