But before that happened.. I was about to say this:
"So yeah, it happened. Anywho~
I miss the days of the peasant starter clothing. I always thought it was nice and suitable. But eh. It's not so big a deal that I'm gonna lose sleep over it. Mostly I just want to buy those scaaaaaaaarves.. @_@"

I think the items are too nice to be starter items, but I do like them. Those scarves are basically my dream come true. For their shape moreso than their colour, but they have made me quite happy. :3
And yeah, glad we got the item. Also if I don't respond it's because I fell into a comatose sleep. It's probably gonna happen. Just sayin'.

Ikr? Sometimes I go into my inventory and pet them all, talk to them.. just so, you know.. if he ever comes back.. I can tell him that I've taken good care of them. *mourns*

And yeah, the urn is definitely one of my favorite items. I love the shoe clips. And it pretty much works for all the avatars I make ( LOL except my current emotion_awesome ).

That is true. Idk, sometimes I wish I had massive hoards of items to fawn over. But then when I really think about it, that would only really appeal to me if I liked every single item in the hoard, or if they had some sort of theme.. or something. Maybe someday I'll start a collection. Well, I do collect mage hats.. omg and I collect Langer the Dragon Plush, too. I forgot that one. But that happened by accident. One of my long-time rp friends decided to quit Gaia because he was getting too busy irl to come on and rp. So he was giving away his items to his friends, and he gave me some cool stuff.. Like, my Picolitrosso's Urn came from him. But by far the best thing ever that he gave me was his hoard of Langers. There are like hundreds of 'em. Okay I don't remember how many there are, but seriously. I was like.. why do you HAVE these?? D:

Hahaha, nice. I'm actually not a pack rat at all. I mostly keep items because I'm too lazy to sell things that can't be sold to the shops. And I can't stand having a large inventory, so I compulsively sell things back to the shops whenever I get them, or on the mp if they are worth 50k+. Otherwise I'll trade them over to my storage mule.. but she has such a small inventory that most people wouldn't accept "storage mule" as an appropriate title for her. xD
The only items in my inventory right now (excepting tokens, ink, and bugs, which I do hoard) are the items I have equipped now and the items that go in the avatar I was wearing prior to this one.

Ikr? I actually did a search to find out what it was when I noticed a bunch of people having it. xD
And uhm, several reasons I suppose. One, he's just generally one of the more awesome people that works hard for the site. This of course is a positive, since I am very much addicted to Gaia. And every time I see him post in the forums he just says the right thing. And I like his opinions.
What prompted me to say that, though, was his response to a thread like the ones you were talking about in the SF, about thinking the "event" was a little too much? He just quoted the OP and said, "No." I lol'd. I'm not always a fan of those explanation-less responses, but SOMETIMES the question is such that it really only merits the obvious, to-the-point answer.
That was all probably a poor explanation, but still. I love him. emotion_kirakira

omg that's ridiculous. Sometimes the stupidity of people amazes me. And usually statements like that one annoy me because I think people are too hard on the human race in general, but this time.. wow.
The sign is the bar thing that covers your mouth, but you have to have your back hand raised for the sign to show up. I took it off because I got my avatar censored; I hadn't realized that the avatar was not censored in profile comments. =/

omg the ignorance of some people on this issue is phenomenal. People are so retarded. Even some of the ones who do understand the purpose are full of complaints because they think it was stupid that they can't see their avatars or the capital letters in the header are annoying them. I'm like.. WTF, you're talking about being irritated with the header of a pixel doll website, when your rights and freedoms are at risk? You don't deserve to have freedoms, if that's how your mind works.. D:

True, teachers don't really like it. But most of our professors are like.. okay with us starting there, as long as we go elsewhere and check all the facts, and don't use it as the sole source of information. I think they are still unhappy about it, but they know we're gonna use it anyway. xD

Yes, yes it is. We talked about it today in my Text class. Well, the professor was having individual meetings with everyone. So the rest of us were off task. And that's the only reason we were talking about it. But still. It was funny because we were trying to do research, and obviously the go-to site for that is Wikipedia. It was like a preview of society degenerating into chaos, watching people try to get by without it. The kid behind me, who is generally a funny guy, was just like "Man, no Wikipedia. Guess I'll just go to Google. *pause* Damn it all these links take me to WIKIPEDIA! *rage rage rage*" I lol'd. Idk, all this SOPA stuff makes me feel incendiary.

Well now that you mention it, that's probably true. For some reason I always imagined magic potions tasting like delicious carbonated beverages. You know, like grape soda, or something. But that probably isn't the case at all. sweatdrop

And UHM.. that connection there had not occurred to me previously. o_o;;
I mean, I've never actually EATEN one, but you know how when you catch them, they leave that ridiculously strong chemically smell on you? And it smells so strong that you can taste it on your tongue, or at least I always thought so. Maybe I'm just a weirdy~

And actually I was kidding at first but then I thought about it and last night really did suck lol. I got no sleep at all. Fortunately I have some magic cough syrup that instantly stops coughing, and lasts a pretty fair amount of time. Granted it tastes like someone mixed a bunch of dead lightning bugs in a bottle of drain cleaner, but eh. At least it's effective. Like frighteningly so. In fact it probably is drain cleaner. But I prefer to think of it as a magic potion. :3
