Mumei is a furry. He's a cheetah of about 17 years of age in human years, and wields the element of the katana, meaning he's able to use a katana to it's fullest abilities, whether it be swordfights or able to make a shockwave.At a young age, his father, a war hero and respectable diplomat was reduced to the status of a beggar and killed by a bunch of drunk teens. He ended up becoming the princess' personal guard and falls in love with her. But, his desire to see the world increased when he met Vyse.
Tragedy struck when he joined Vyse's pirate crew because when Charon fell into a blackhole, Riku attacked and killed everyone besides Hachi, Mumei, and Sanjuro. With Hachi and Sanjruo mentally unstable, Mumei has lost all interest in everything and anyone. The fact that the princess died due to disease, doesn't help.
