Omg, there's a pink bunny flying around on the back of a seagull with a diamond encrusted beak eating a pie while juggling?! Where? I wanna see.

WHAT? gonk Who hasn't read Harry Potter, besides those who absoultely hate books? Abandon him/her, now. Okay, I'm kidding. But really, force the books on them or something. The poor person is missing a huge chunk from 'stuff that makes life worth living' section of his/her life.

Whatever Never Knew

Harry Potter... British... xd

One time an IRL friend was at my house, and we were bored, so we watched part of a Harry Potter movie on tv. And out of nowhere, she asked, "What's with all the British?" She had never read the books. She didn't realize the whole series takes place in Britland. xd

I realized I hadn't commented on your profile yet, Aisa :O Bad Kristy. And what a lovely time to come at - the whole grammar thing and all.

I'm with Kori, I think grammar was the same for English, British, American and whatnot. More (or less) commas isn't a different grammar system, either. It's just a different way of using the grammar system.

Perhaps because I'm Canadian, I'm exposed to both British English and American English and see them both as the same thing? Well that sounds good in my head, anyway. (Besides, you've read Harry Potter, Cassie, if you can get by that - well, JKR's got your pretty much average British speak...)

True, mostly it's just commas. American grammar has a lot more. And British grammar, they have different ways of citing things and such.
