Hi there, Name's Jess, been a member of Gaia since late '03. Used to have another account back then, but I was a newb and didn't know making a second account with the name email pretty much deletes the first account -_-;

But what's done is done! Here on Gaia I'm also known as Shader-san, or Shader, a name based of a character from a rather not-so-well-known Manga called Chrono Crusade. (You ought to try it sometime!)

I just love Japanese culture (and not in the weebo way, I like more than just the manga and anime!), but it's a bit outshined by the other stuff I really love. I love writing, reading, and drawing, and sometimes the three tend to bleed together during my various little personal projects. XP

As far as stories go, I'm a rather good fanfiction writer. Don't knock it till you read it, I pride myself on making believable and well-written stories. (None of that crappy, overly done stuff with the blatant self insertion. I have too much dignity.)

And as for drawing, I don't like to brag, but I am pretty good, but I don't think I'm really up to par with those in the arena, so don't expect me around there anytime soon!

And for reading, I'll give just about anything a chance, especially if it's got Holly Black's name tacked on it. I just LOVE her stuff. ^^

The polar opposite is got to Be Stephanie Meyer. If the woman didn't already have a couple of kids, I'd have to say I think she needs to get laid. xD
