Wow, James.
All I can say, is that badge spriting like this is hard!
The Curse Badge was too hard for me, so I tried doing the Grass badge.
And you said to show you my first attempt, so... Here it goes.

It looks really dark and ugly... Can you make it look pretty please?

I find it hard that we have to re draw it, but it's the only way to make the outline look right.

I'm still working on that badge.
It's rough.
I tried doing it with the same scale of the original badges, and everything was fine except the outter glow on the outlines. So I am going to make them 200x200 like the tutorial recommends.
Is that what you did?

Also, our ghost leader uses the Davy Jones locker phrase.

My math teacher used to say practice made permanent, so it was important to improve and not just repeat the action.

Having a tablet is a little overrated in my opinion...
Also, gimp can substitute for photoshop for many tasks.
Now, with this tutorial, I can try to make badges in this cool style for the Elemental League. Thank you so much for showing this to me.

I don't even remember my first sprites...
They were all basic.
Then after some practice you slowly become better.
It's like anything else.

Gym Badges are harder for me to make.
What kinds have you made?

I generally only make sprites for the Elemental/Classic League, or shameless amounts of gold.
