Yao Ling

This,
Ling had decided,
was one of the oddest genetic ties that he'd seen.
Now that was saying something,
since his father's court was an impressive thing.
He gawked at them for a while,
before deciding promptly that he was hungry,
taking a cornchip out of his bag
(Seriously! Who keeps food laying around with their clothes!?)
and popped it in his mouth.
Archer and the other man seemed quite fascinated at his random behavior,
before motioning fo him to follow.

Ling stayed behind the two,
choosing to keep some distance.
Frankly,
Amestris had allways had him on nerve,
and the baby that insisted to stare intently at him without out breaking eyecontact
felt like he was on Candid Camera.
Oh the hell that Ambasadors had to go through....

Ling lifted an eyebrow when his feet came to a stop in front of Archer.
"Stuck babysitting?"
Giving his trademark smile,
the one that the world should soon know,
Ling began his task on making a royal a** of himself.

FIRST POST

Ling sighed, setting down the heavy brown case that he had the missfortune to carry.
There'd better be a good,
reasonable explanation for,
( The Emporer of Xing, thank you!)
him to come to this country of Ed's ancestry.

He stretched, popping a bone in his back.
Quoting Ed,
those train seats were as soft as granite. (sp?)

Ed had said to look for a pale man,
who would escort him to the military headquarters.
A seemingly easy task,
if it were not that everybody in Amestris had such pale skin.

But he found the man eventually,
and somehow Ling knew that he was right.
Picking up his heavy burden, he began his treck to
the other side of the crowded room.

People jostled him around.
No respect for a man of his rank!
"His name is Archer."
Edward had said through the phone.
"You'll know him when you see him. I mean come on, Ling,
he's in the military.
That shouldn't be that hard,
even for you."

"Only for you, Ed. Only you."
Hissing, the gap between them closed.

Wowsers! This was long!
...'Only my 3rd one,
so I appologize for my lack of...
skillz. ^_^;;
