Yay for us, I use random house too.

And, I agree that a downside is that it only gives the kanji.

Everytime I see that I make a little "ugh" noise.

You are God for sending me the wiki thing.

I'd never have thought of that e.e

It does help a lot, but I'm still a bit unclear

on certain present tense conjugations.

Do you change every ending to -masu?

That's what's been bugging me, forever D:

And, I was wondering, would you be willing to

maybe set up a lesson each time, where you give

me a sentance in English to translate, and have them at,

like, 3 different levels, easy-hard?

If you don't want to, it's alright.

I was just thinking it would help a lot since your

more advanced and I could better my sentance-ing skills.

You do sound like you're doing a lot of work! x.x

What flowers should I bring for your grave? :<

I was in school the time you left your last message, but it's out now.

And on the 10th I'm going to an open house for an online school,

since I can't stand the one I'm going to, and I want to start working ASAP.

And I'm really hoping this school has more languages than Spanish, German, and French.

I've already learned the first two, and I'm putting the third on hold o:

What about "gay"?

Yup yup. I added a 'u'. I saw 'virgin',

right under 'girl'. I laughed because... I'm immature D:

I'm ok with books, and the internet.

But when I use the internet

I usually look on more than one source,

and see what information matches.

And I use about.com a lot, only Namiko's lessons though.

Seeing how she's Japanese,

it helps a lot since she knows what she's teaching about.

And for that other thing, I'm just saying that I don't think

it taught enough to be paid for. Of course, I am really cheap. D:

And, I realized today I've been using "shojou"

because I was thinking of the sentence as

"The girl smells of sakura" even though I know I said "She smells of sakura",

and then I realized I could've just used the word for 'she'. Oops D:

I was thinking as "kami no nagai" as "hair of long" >_>

Okay, so I need help with a few things.

When conjugating verbs that end in 'su'

do you just use desu, or do you keep them as they are and add 'masu'?

Like, in a sentence I tried to do, it's supposed to use 'yosu' - to stop, desist

And the sentence is "I'll stop from kissing you."

I have ”わたしに あなたを きす よす です”

(I think I'm using the wrong 'stop').

I had the urge to use 'masu',

but 'yosumasu' just doesn't sound right. D:

And I have another sentance:

Sabaku- settle, pass judgement。

"The god passed judgement on the person."

”かみは ひとに さばきました。”

I forgot to ask last time, what do you do as a job?

And, I don't like the security thing either D<

7 effing times before it let me submit a comment.

It doesn't do it to people on your friendlist,

so I'm sending you a request :3

-Grabs life support- Don't die ;~;

~mai: "This counter is used for flat, sheetlike objects,

like sheets of paper. ... it is also used to count CDs and stamps."

My reference is from http://www.humanjapanese.com/,

this is where I learned all my basics. I only did the trial thing,

because after going through it all, it just isn't worth spending 25 bucks on it. -Shrug-

My dictionary says ”におい” means "smell, scent" (same thing as kaori),

and then, ”におう” means "smell of".

I might have used it wrong, I probably didn't use it as a verb D:

I thought ”しょじょう” could just be used to mean just "girl",

my dictionary says "girl" too.

I'll look more into that.

And I looked a little up about the "yo (ni, na)",

and it says it means "as, like, or resemble/s/ing"?

So your sentance would be something like:

"As for the girl, the scent is like/resembles sakura", right?

"れいぎ” means civility, and etiquette. So either word works.

かみ が ながい 人(ひと) は、 かわいい です。

How come it's "kami ga nagai" and not "kami no nagai"?

Oh, don't lose motivation, you can do it!

And, that's pretty neat of a meeting >w<

o.o I just noticed a bunch of typos in the first paragraph. x.x *dies*

The city that I live in is the poorest of it's size in the WHOLE country.

There, that's a lot better. All is right in the world, now. xD

>W< THANK YOU. <333

Yes, well, where I like... we're the poorest city of our size, so.. you can see how that didn't work out so well. xD

Umm, probably. All I know of Spanish is, "El pantalones es raja." (The pants IS red.) See? ALREADY butchered in grammar AND spelling. x.x

私がゆっくり下手になったから、一緒に日本語を練習しるかもしれませんか? <--- No idea. I'm still learning kanji and... my friend stole my Kanji dictionary when she moved... I'm better at Hiragana and Katakana... and I would LOVE to be taught it! <333

Woo! <33 I love being able to ramble and NOT get in trouble for it. <3

Live on my side, lets see....

I live in North Vegas, Nevada (boring for people under 21)

and I go to LVA (Las Vegas Academy)

Now about you, are you in college?

or...hah I researched all the colleges in Canada, I'm gonna go to one of them someday.....

So What part of CAnada?

にちようび に いっしょに えいが を み に いきますか?

For this sentence, couldn't you just drop the 'ni' totally,

and just say "にちようび に いっしょに えいが を みますか?”

And for this sentence: この ひと は、ねこ が すきじゃない かもしれません。

Instead of saying 'suki ja nai', couldn't you just say 'kirai'?

Or is that word too hateful?

Lately I've been doing this thing where I'll flip to a

random page in my Japanese-English dictionary,

and I'll pick out a word and use it in a sentence.

There's a few that don't feel completely right:

I'd like to buy 3 tickets (admission).

わたしは さんーまい にゅじょけん を かって ください。

Other than any mess ups I had;

I was thinking, since attraction tickets would be like the context themselves,

I could probably just say "San-mai, kudasai" right?

She has the smell of cherry blossoms.

しょじょうは さくら におう です。

I keep thinking if 'wo' needs to go after 'sakura',

but then it just doesn't sound right D:

He has no manners...

しょうねんは さほ もちない。。。

Yeah, so, it sounds totally right,

and completely wrong to me >.>

How many years are you

gonna be in your current school?

I hope it's not long until you

can go to a school that offers Japanese.

I found my way to your profile through another awesome one (with a wicked avi). I wanted to stop by and tell you I love your profile (and the fact that you know Japanese.) Lucky... I've been trying to teach myself for four years and I'm not that great. There is only ONE school in my WHOLE state that teaches Japanese and I'm not smart enough to get into it (Genius School). *sob sob* So, yeah, anyway... >.>; Good for you! It's an amazing task (though I actually find it a hell of a lot easier than Spanish). xD Sorry for rambling so much. I'm going to shut up now. o.o;;
