You have more than one room in the basement so lock them in seperate rooms and give tehm each food, water, and a pile of blankets. Thats what I would do.

Leave them alone with food and water. What difference does a storm make besides them being scared? My dog gets scared too but I'm gonna leave him alone.

yeah just stick 20 dollars under the door all weekend. that won't get stolen or blown away. you can just put it in an envolope and put it in the mail box.

kinda. me and scarlette are going up to mall of america today and we won't be back tell sunday afternoon. If you can get it before 5 or 6 it will also work out cause my mom will be home but then she's leaving for the weekend too.

other wise next week should be fine too, but not next weekend.

In case you found Vista dreadfully slow and wouldn't mind downgrading to XP, here are some guides to help you out:

- it's a (translated from Spanish?) site from a fellow TX1000 user who switched to XP. has links to XP drivers and step-by-step guide with pictures!!

- a topic about your TX1000. the site from #1 is the OP.

- all sorts of drivers from HP for you TX1000
- NOTE: according to the guy from #1, you'll lose the auto-rotate screen after switching to XP
- NOTE: LAN drivers can be found from Realtek site (or the company site that made your LAN)
- NOTE: Video drivers can be found at Nvidia site (assuming yours have GeForce Go)
