Well, it was freezing outside but warm within. I got some great pictures, which I wish I knew how to post on the internet! sweatdrop *shrug* I guess I gotta' buck up and get ready for the final days of school, and finals for that matter, as well as putting the finishing touches on the schedule for my senior year and all the auditions I'm having next Saturday. (I'm doing 2 NYSSMA solos and auditioning for an opera camp all on the same day.)
P.S. My school year starts on the Wednesday after Labor Day (Tuesday for freshmen) and ends in late May (with a week reserved for finals, which usually end around June 3rd or so).

I didn't see the person I most wanted to see at L'Opera Garnier, but I did see his famous box. I dropped off the letter I composed the night before the trip there and saw the reference the props people used for the nude statues in the movie. They truly are fantastic, but they're not gilded gold. They're bronze.
P.S. They weren't giving tours that frigid day (It was 2 degrees Celcius!), so I couldn't get inside the theatre and go to the underground lake. (It's an intentional part of the design, ordered by architect Garnier himself.) The Parisian ballet was rehearsing. What's your favorite ballet?

No, but I saw lots of posters for it in the Parisian Metro while I was in France last week. It hasn't even come out in France yet; they still have to wait until next week for "Alice en Pays de Merveilles" to hit theaters. My sister saw it over the weekend though.
P.S. I got to visit L'Opera Garnier while I was in Paris. I feel euphoric because to walk within Erik's essence in the place where he dwells even now!
P.P.S. I'm even more excited because The Princess and the Frog came out on DVD/Blu-ray today.

I know. I've been busy with 1. a deviantart account, 2. school, and 3. Ring Week. I'm getting my class ring on Valentine's Day (which is weird), and to prepare for it, I've got to go through the mandatory ritual of dressing up. The seniors ask me and my fellow juniors to dress up as certain things for five days; some lazy juniors have seniors that dress them up for less than that.
P.S. I got to choose the costume I'll wear for Friday.
