Wii was the hot gift in Christmas, but personally I don't look at the system with fondness.
You're a'94 right? Did you start gaming late? I'm only three years older and I played 8-bit and 16-bit games for large chunk of my life.
*JonTron
Yeah, but personally I think that even Genesis' hidden gems weren't very high grade.
The Master System stayed at my grandparents house exclusively for a long time so it would always feel a new experience.

Like I said, the original is by far my favorite. I would definitely recommend checking it out since it's on PSN. I replayed it recently on PS3 and it was just as great as I remembered.
I know he was the main guy in 24, but never watched that show. But well, we all know what they say. Hayters gonna hayte. Agreed. I heard about the fan-project though., shame it was shut down.

Agreed. Gamers just like to point fingers. If used games isn't the root of all evil, then it's Dudebros, Capcom or EA, or female developers, girl gamers or Let's Players.
I think that online passes were a tasteful way to deal with it. Cheapskates would no longer save the 10 bucks by waiting a week and buying it used, so they would be encouraged to buy it new.
Another thing that I like is when company makes SP and MP available seperately for digital purchase since there are people who only plays one or another. By buying one you will be saving money, but even if you wanted both at least cost would be split in two.
Maybe there are regional differences. Their prices are nuts, I can't think of a great deal I've made by buying from Gamestop.
If I visit a town with Gamestop, I'm going there. But most of the time I walk out empty handed due to bad prices.
I hate hypocricy that companies fight Gamestop, but then they give them bunch of pre-order bonuses and crap.

I have been perm banned twice. Once when I was young and stupid and bought gold with money, which is against rules. Kind of ironic though that now Gaia doesn't want anything more than you buying gold with real money. Not even gold that was legimately had to be earned by someone, but by flatout generating it. Which is great because if history proves anything, it's that Hyperinflation works. /sarcasmoverload
And second time was when I spelled Sony as $ony in a parody thread that Sony fanboy had made about "Micro$oft". Except of course my thread wasn't just hateful garbage and any claim was actually backed with evidence.

Master System is the only system I have. My parents bought it to my grandparent's house so me and my brother would have something to do over there. I really like it.
My friend had Genesis, but it failed to impress me. I always considered Super Nintendo being the hot gift on Christmas and Genesis being the console equivalent of lump of coal.
I know about those 60 built-in games systems. I remember them being cheap as in less than brand new triple AAA game.

Agreed. The original Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game and I played and loved Metal Gear Solid 4. Sons of Liberty I didn't really like but watched my brother play through most of it and Snake Eater I've started multiple times on multiple platforms but just can't get into. And Peace Walker I never played because I'd want to play Snake Eater first. Despite no finishing any Big Boss titles, I do know what was going on and I do fancy myself quite a fan of the series.
I don't mind the actor change at all, I like Kiefer too and I'm not familiar with his previous work so I don't make any weird connections. Maybe it's because I played Solid's games first so first Big Boss I heard was Richard Doyle in MGS4 who sounded NOTHING like Hayter. so when I started Snake Eater, it was just super awkward hearing Hayter do him. There's no reason why Big Boss and Solid would share the same voice. Liquid sounded different. Even perfect clone Solidus didn't sound the same.
Phantom Pain is one of my most anticipated games. I've really liked song choices in MGS V trailers, Nuclear included, though it's my third favorite. Second would be "Not Your Kind of People" and first would be amazing "Sins of the Father". I really can't say if I'm more excited for games release for the game itself or the full version of the song.

Yeah. I think used games market is a problem, but not a threat to retail that would need to be gotten rid of entirely. There are people like me who simply want things new. Heck, there's people like me who might buy game multiple times, from top of my mind I can think of 17 games I own two or more copies of. If we're talking about used games as in from Gamestop, online is cheapest. I can find new sealed copy of almost any modern game online for cheaper than I would get used game with lost manual and used DLC from Gamestops I've been to.
I really like DLC. Of course it varies case by case, but 90% of time I land somewhere between "I have no problem with that" and "I really don't care". With rest being 8% of "Gimme now" and 2% being stuff that's really rotten.

I'd be super pissed if VGD was removed, but I do hate the user ran "no discussion allowed" policy.
Oh, I still remember the days when VGD had moderators. I even remember my main account Super Famicom getting perm banned for spelling Sony with $. Come to think of it, I don't really miss the moderators that much. I just wish gaming community as a whole would work on fixing the poisonous hostile enviroment.
I play anything, though western games have started looking more appealing to me.

I have Sega Master System, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance SP, DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, Playstation 1-4, Xbox 360, Android and iOS devices and PC capable of running 1080p games at 60FPS.
I don't remember which ones they were, but I've played some Game & Watches, haven't owned any though. I know my friend used to have Donkey Kong.

He did say that the game was good. I expect him to like Phantom Pain.
And you don't really need to know about past Metal Gear Solids, Ground Zeroes takes place before any game in the franchise I've played.
Yeah. I watch reviews and it's nice to hear them raise up points that you noticed for better or worse, but in the end I make my own decision.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect a store be selling a broken system, but I just prefer getting it new.

Yeah, what XBO had planned was more hostile towards used games than online passes were. Even if they had crashed and burned, I would've been interested see Microsoft go on with their original plans.
There are people who exclusively buy used games to save few bucks even if they're not living on such a tight budget. Some buys used just to be dicks.
Yeah. Online passes are still needed, but I believe at least some company made them free downloads. Yeah, though season passes are different.

I'm not a man of faith personally.
The moral thing was a joke, the few people who really lacks any moral belongs behind bars.
Just saying that you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than VGD. I've also noticed that there is interest in those games in VGD, though I never was sure if they like them sarcasticly.

Headcanon is basically your own personal canon that doesn't take away from actual canon facts.
Like, if I said that Jude sleeps curled up in a ball and takes ages to wake up on a normal day, that's my headcanon. It doesn't mess with story and it's not a confirmed fact.
Also some people do gender/romantic headcanons, which are the most popular. My friend and I have headcanons that Milla is Aromantic and Asexual.

For some strange reason, despite being able to do just about everything, like I can play Skyrim and FFXIV for hours without any issues, if I try to browse the Steam Workshop, there's a chance it'll cause a blue screen, with the menacing error message that is "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" which is a hardware issue that's usually related to the SSD. The common solution is to do a full reinstall of Windows, but I don't want to deal with the trouble of installing all the drivers and whatnot. That, and I already replaced the DVD drive with a hard drive caddy, so I'd have to put that back in (which is easy, but a bit of a lengthy process,) unless I install it using a flash drive. I also can't use Steam's integrated web browser while playing a game as it makes the entire system choke to the point to where I have to do a hard shutdown.

Steam may be a wonderful service and all, but the program itself is an unoptimized piece of s**t.

This pretty much sums up most of the VGD when anyone writes something longer than a single paragraph.

Yeah. I mean my 360. I've had it since 2008 and after PS2 it's probably my most played system. I'm not going to comment on that as a person who already owns PS4, Wii U and 3DS.
Yeah, I see no problem with that.

Angry Joe never got annoying to me. He plays on consoles and is fully capable of enjoying that.
I'm not going to say that someone who's not familiar with previous titles wouldn't have any say rating a game.
We live in a sequel happy times where every game has to turn into a franchise. Continuity is important, but good game needs to stand on it's own for new players.
Pricing is one of the dumbest things I've seen anyone take scores away for. Price varies locationally and constantly goes down and how long will you moan over that $10 you paid too much?
I haven't gotten that feeling from his accent. But yeah, I hate it when PC people complain that their computer that cost more than a car and runs on a jet engine isn't fully utilized. Nobody told them to spend thousands on their RIG.
I personally wouldn't buy used system either.

I actually didn't mind online passes, I thought it was pretty clever way to deal with the issue. It wasn't overly hostile towards used games. PC users has been fine with a lot worse for ages.

I rarely go back to play different path. Right now can't think of games I replayed multiple times recently other than Metal Gear Rising.
Not going to name the company, but I'm IT support of a global manufacturing corporation.
I really liked Clicked. Haven't seen many of his other movies.

Oh crap, I've heard about that game, but totally forgot about it. That's unexpected, never took VGDers as a moral bunch.
There's some that I wouldn't want to be caught rubbing. Few pictures also are pretty low quality.

Ah yeah. I was typing on a tablet so it messed up. Yes I meant fictional!

Yeah they did have then once before. Maxwell just took the humans who could use it better and locked them in Rize Maxia and those with shittier ones were left outside. It wasn't fully explained, like tales games often do, so it's more or less headcanon at this point. But they have regressed as Balan had said that in game.

With PS4 it's not poorly implemented after thought, so there's no reason to want to disable it on it. On PS3 I might look into settings, though I don't play it that much that it would really be an annoyance.
I don't have a problem with being a fanboy as long as you're not blind jerk about it. There are some things that I could certainly be accused of being a fanboy of at least to certain extend.
Ah, I understood that you would already have that on your 360. I'm honestly surprised that my 360 has worked this whole time considering that there are people who has gone through multiple systems in same time.

Yeah, I know that they have more content and obviously graphics have been improved.
I haven't played Disgaea, but I played La Pucelle: Tactics which is pretty familiar to my knowledge. The main character even makes appearance in Disgaea.
I prefer 1080p over 720p, but it's not a deal breaker for me. People who 60FPS and 1080p are the MINIMUM requirement for game to be palyable really get under my skin.
It makes watching John "TotalBiscuit" Bain hard because overall he's a guy who I enjoy watching and listening to and who's opinion I hold some value on, but whenever he complains about console level resolution or framerate in "oh, geez, so bad, might as well not play it" tone, I go to a dark place.
I'll be keeping my eyes open for Vita when Christmas sales starts up. I remember last year there being some pretty good deals. Yeah, could be European or even Finnish thing, a lot of places have exclusives. I don't think we've had McRib.
I was at work. I check and reply to message during breaks. Because of this I might be online, but be replying really slow or sometimes simply not be able to.
My FC is 0662-3239-5752

I'm not huge into replaying games, though yeah, I know what you mean. I probably paid most for Hyrule Warriors Treasure Box which retail price in Japan would be around $145, which of course wasn't that "little" when importing.
I'm not big into replaying games, but I know what you mean. Yeah, it was one of the games that I thought about when making decision to buy PS3.
Adam Sandler's "Click" broke me. I used to be heartless robot, but since then every emotional speech or scene gets my eyes watery.
Nice, so a full soundtrack. There's not many things I appreciate more than full multi-disc soundtracks in collector's editions.

Oh, thanks for checking it out. I started doing it for myself, but it's always nice to hear someone actually go through it. I updated newest entry with Hyrule Warriors: Treasure Box.
The Highschool Of The Dead poster I think you're referring to is actually dust jacket of manga omnibus. The ecchi thing isn't a comic, but an encyclopedia on monsters with moefied ecchi illustrations. I love how ridiculous the idea is, I really laughed out loud when I found out about them.

Yeah, that's sadly true. I'm not an active praticipant in console wars, though mostly because I can't stand the people. It's too hostile. It would be more enjoyable if people concentrated more on why they like their system than they do on why they hate everyone elses.
Is it? I meant to look if there's an option to turn trophy sync off, but always forgot. I agree, I think that Microsoft has by far the best UIs. Trophys/Achievements is a feature that not everyone even cares about so it was a slap in the face whenever you would want to start a game and it starts syncing trophies.
I have an old 360 Pro (never RROD'd). I rarely play online games, though I have cancelled my Live Gold memebership and I have PS+, so I would probably stick with Playstation for online too.
Silver account was always free.

I know that it's an enhanced version of a Wii game. If Persona 4 and Muramasa were PSV originals, that would've been enough for me to buy the system but technically both games would already be available on my systems.
Other games would be Soul Sacrifice (I think that was the name) and maybe Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games. I'll likely end up getting it at some point, even just for remote play.

Alright. I've seen some McDonalds with nice interiors like that.
Nacho Jr is a normal burger, but has nachos in it with salsa and sour cream mayo. McFeast has regular burger stuff and mustard, grill spice, onions and special McFeast sauce.
We don't have Wendy's here. We recently got Burger King, but I think capital has the only restaurant at the moment and I haven't been there since it came so haven't had a chance to test it out.
I believe all games have multi-region online, it would be the worst idea ever to limit them to one region. Though my only experience is with Pokemon Y where I traded with some Japanese.
Thanks for the FC, I'll add you and send you mine later, I'm currently not home.

Only Persona CD I have is the arrangement from Persona 4 Arena. Though I have P3/FES soundtrack on my computer.
Yeah, that's a problem I have with RPGs. And if I take a break, I'll forget what has happened and feel a need to restart the game and thinking about all those hours turns me off.
I was really looking forward to Ni No Kuni on PS3, but never got around playing it because I didn't feel I have the time and attention span right now.
Yeah, I noticed your response. I was going to send you a comment. Those are some nice editions, I don't think I have any on PS2. Are the Persona soundtracks full or just selection / arrangement?
If you're interested in seeing stuff that I have, my journal is like 90% of just purchase log.

Well if you think about it biologically, Alvin miraculously regenerating parts of his brain that didn't need to be used after 2000 or so years of nonuse by the entire population is more fanatical than the entire series imo. What the lance did was use the mana in the enviroment to use gravity like it did. As for the mana drain, elympians have mana. They just can't use spirit artes. Mana in xillia works like it did in symphonia, everyone has it but not everyone can use it.

Yes Jude's dad was an exodus member. That's a topic you find out in the side story "The Day Milla Maxwell was Born" and on Milla's story in Leronde where Alvin talks to him while Milla is 'sleeping'.
A lot of Xillia's information also comes from jpn only guide books so unless you have a way to read that info as well, you'll end up with alot of missing information.
at that, taleslations on tumblr actively translates guidebook ad novel material, although a bit scattered in regards to what is translated. It's worth checking out.

Nope, actually, all modern Elympians were born WITHOUT Mana Lobes, which is why Maxwell banished them all to Elympios when he created the schizm. The old ones may have had such small mana lobes that they can't use spirit artes. Modern Elympians use a kind of spirit artes called Calculatrics that use complicated formulas and spyrix. When Alvin helped with volt, he wasn't using spirit artes, he was helping everyone take some of the drawback from the spyrix that was used to "summon" Volt, which was the same machine Gilland had with Celcius.

Jude was born with a mana lobe, so he can use spirit artes. Which I'm sure was a relief to his father since he doesn't have one either.

But as far as I know, it will never regenerate within Alvin or any other current living Elympians. It doesn't seem biologically possible for it to suddenly start working again just because of spirits/spyrites when they hadn't had to use such things for a long, long time.

10 years was a somewhat arbitrary figure on my part; that's about when we got a console and I started getting into gaming. Regarding the fiction & reality angle, I believe that the player must already have those (violent, sexual, racist, etc.) tendencies for a game to actually perpetuate them. All bets are off if we're talking about a child playing a game that isn't intended for them though. Other than that, I have nothing further to add on fan-service in gaming, everything I can think of has been covered ^_^

Have you considered writing an article on this? I'm not sure where the best place is to publish it, but I think it would be a good thing for people to read. A bit of a tangent: would you happen to know if there's a site where users can swap video games? I did a quick search and only found ebay-esque ones, but it would be neat if two users could just trade games they don't want anymore. I know trust is a commodity nowadays, so I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you'd like to have discussions like this (doesn't have to be on gaming), please don't hesitate to shoot me a comment or PM. This was interesting; thanks for the discussion ^_^

Yep. It's even more annoying having an half-assed feature that only works sometimes than it would be to not have it at all.
Yeah, swapping friend codes should be fine. It SHOULD be as simple as sending a friend request like it's in every other platform and social network...
Playstation's trophy system was terrible. I threw my hands to air in frustration every time PS3 would want to sync the trophies. Luckily it was done right on PS4.

Yeah, I know, I've seen Deception IV on few online stores, I was mixing it with Conception series.
Persona 4 Golden and Muramasa: Rebirth and that's about it. I would probably import most of my Vita games from US.

I've seen some awkward family photos online outside of that site. Thanks for the link, looks like a good site to get some good laughs.
What do you mean, did they do more than just change the happy meal mascot? I still live in Finland, but we don't have McDonalds in my city so I only get chance to visit one when I'm traveling.
I really like all of it. Cheeseburgers, Big Macs, McFeasts, Nacho Jr., etc.

No problem, if it got on sale I would definitely recommend it. Ace Attorneys always has great music, a song from the series is on my top 10 favorite VGM list.
I've only played Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 Arena, the soundtracks didn't really hit me besides "P3 FES", "Burn My Dread", "The Poem for Everyone's Souls" and "Blues in Velvet Room".
Yeah, even Atlus published games seem to scream Atlus. I think they just publish games from like-minded developers.

New Leaf is my first Animal Crossing. I might have spent good amount of time on it, but I still don't quite get it. Maybe if you had more control over it and if character interaction was more in-depth.
Yeah, I find it quite annoying, especially when developers can decide not to have Miiverse support making screenshots impossible. MH3U would've been one game where I would've wanted to take screenshots, but noooo. In New Leaf you can take screenshots without posting them on Miiverse.
What annoys me most about Miiverse is how seperated it is from system itself unlike PSN and Live where it had been integrated excellently and you can only send messages on Wii U. With Nintendo hating technology and internet especially, I can get why they wouldn't let you message on mobiles or computers, but why on earth not have it on 3DS?
Worst Ace Attorney, but still pretty good. Few chapters felt too long, though the last chapter was great. In the series most important thing for me are the characters and I really loved Athena (sidekick) and Blackquill (prosecutor) and some side characters were great as well, but not all of them had the same charm as characters from previous titles. And of course the soundtrack was pure excellence as always. Also there were couple cameos that I waited for the whole game that never happened.

Yeah, I definitely prefer gesture controls over virtual buttons.
I was thinking that there's games of that series on Playstation that had card battle system, but I mixed up the titles. One PS has was Deception. Conception sounds a lot better, might look more into it.

Yeah, it's super freaky, though this stuff always cracks me up. Haven't been in McDonalds since they changed it. I wonder if the creepy mascot has reached Finland.
I probably could, but since I have PS4, I would much rather just get the proper Vita to pair it with. But it doesn't have much I would want to play.

I'd say Mortal Kombat is worth checking out, Street Fighter, not so much at all, stay away from Street Fighter movies.
Super Mario Bros. movie is finally getting Blu-Ray release. I still have my original VHS copy and a DVD. It ended in cliffhanger which pissed me off for a long time, but story was actually recently continued with currently on-going webcomic.
Yeeeeaaaah, no thanks, I would hate The Last of Us becoming a movie trilogy. If they dragged it for three movies to fit everything that was in the game, it wouldn't do anyone any good. Gamers wouldn't have reason to go watch it and viewers wouldn't have reason to go play the game.
I remember liking the first Resident Evil movie, then director started banging the main actress Milla Jovovich and it just got awkward. Nemesis looked really badass, but other than that I don't remember liking the second film much.

I agree with you on censorship. If you don't like it, don't play it. A thought just occurred to me and I'm not sure if it's correct, but would you say that JRPGs with fan-service themes have been more prevalent in the American market in the past, say 10 years? I got into gaming fairly late and my particular preference is a bit narrow, so I don't have enough background to actually run with that. However, I was interested in otome games for a bit and imported a couple because I couldn't find anything else that sounded good here. Otome is a very niche market here, but I wonder if there's been a gradual influx of fan-service themed games that has caught the general American populace off-guard. Not all gamers are into anime or manga and those themes could be unfamiliar to them.

I completely agree with you on parenting! Parents are supposed to teach and guide their child, not be their best friend. Ugh, that's an issue that really grinds my gears.

I seem to cycle: get bored with Gaia and "leave," get bored irl and "come back." Years ago, I made a really good friend on here and one day he just vanished. That has been resolved, but I guess I keep thinking that maybe I can find others who I could connect with. The economy was a huge shock and the number and nature of announcements is quite telling of their motivation. I'm pretty much doing the same thing, probably a bit more frequently though xD Thanks for summing it up for me c:

December 2013? Japan still doesn't have release date, so west won't see it in a long time.
I don't really see the appeal of Miiverse and I've put considerable amount of time in only five games.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (~90 hours), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (~50 hours), Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies (~50 hours), Pokemon Y (~40 hours) and Fire Emblem: Awakening (~30 hours).
You've mentioned it quite a few times, have you played Conception II? What is it like?

I have never seen anyone of any age play a handheld in public even back in the days.
I don't play mobile games. I used to have Angry Birds, Flappy Birds and Tetris that I played couple of times on iPod Touch 5, but I wiped it clean and now use it exclusively for music.
On my smartphone (LG G2) I have World of Goo and BitTrip (or something like that) that I got from Humble Indie Bundles. but haven't played them. Didn't even remember I had them until I checked just now.
Ugh, I know, my friend is hardcore into hating mobile gaming. Also play handheld games rarely.

My theory is that in the future on other timeline united west took down Japan and rest of Asia as an easy target due to their technological inferiority, but a small group of rebels were able to steal Germany's time machine and has been sending inventors back in time to prevent that from happening. But always eventually Japan's modern culture gets to them and forgetting what they came to do they just starts putting their effort into handjob robots.
I only know couple of people who plays games, but as far as I know none of them has 3/2DS.

I'm really surprised to see Nintendo having Happy Meal toys. They had some when Mario 3D World came out.
I don't get it either why companies would bother publishing on Wii U either. I'm not huge into JRPGs. Though I wouldn't mind getting Persona 4 Golden remastered for PS4.
I really liked the first Mortal Kombat movie. I also will always have a soft spot for Super Mario Bros movie. I'm looking forward to Last of Us movie. I'm all in for creative freedom.
If you wanted something that was scene by scene true to the source material, why not just revisit the source material?

Yeah, I'm not trying to say there's not, there's no denying that it got censored.
Yeah, I wish that more merchandise came through west. Game had fantastic art and music.
I heard that there was a second one in the making, but haven't looked into any news about it since I still haven't played the first.
Being into one thing doesn't mean you can't be into something entirely different. I mean, how many kids play Minecraft which is as far away from COD as it gets?
Gaming on a phone has always been an interesting novelty. I played more Snake and Space Impact on my phone than I played Gameboy. It's something you always have on you and nobody will think twice if you're on your phone, but pulling out a video game system paints a certain picture of you.
Yeah, it's ridiculous seeing some kids going around with a phone that's more expensive than mine.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Fire Emblem: Awakening had in-game DLC store. I love cosmetic DLC. Yeah, I've met people who doesn't think that DLC are expansions.
One time that I've been out drinking was with my old class in our graduation when it was teacher's and classmate's treat. I've only handled guns at mandatory military service.
I agree. It would probably be a lot more fun with company, but never played online. I have a friend who wants that, but I hate it that multiplayer is seperated from the story mode despite having same quests.
It still is 10 years ago in Japan though and that's their main audience. Yeah, I liked the CGI films too. A lot of their series have comics like Monster Hunter, Street Fighter and Mega Man and they have really strong merchandising. I think non-video-game stuff would be in danger if Nintendo acquired them.

Stripping down MP makes sense, who would run servers for that, there's no way it would have enough demand to justify it.
Nintendo doesn't need 3rd party ports. Most people have Nintendo on the side for Nintendo exclusives and does rest of the gaming on stronger platforms.
Yeah, definitely. I would call Kojima's games cinematic, but not flatout interactive movies. That's insult to both Kojima and actual interactive movie games.
I hate the "what is a game" debate too, so if it comes out on a gaming platform and developer says it's a game, that's good enough for me. If I can't put the controller down, sit back and watch it, it's not a movie.
Good enough for me, another thing to add on my list of things to look up. I thought the first one was really good. What's your favorite video game movies?

To be honest, I see fan-service in games both ways. On one hand, fan-service adds to the personality of a game and can also create appeal for a target audience. It can be used to build characters, progress the plot, or just for a small mental break. Of course there's nothing wrong with fan-service for fan-service's sake. On the other, games tend to be a more immersive form of entertainment. The player is given (in most cases) the illusion of control which causes the player to be more invested in the game. If the player disagrees with the fan-service, that not only breaks the illusion, but also could cause disappointment. And when people are unhappy, they like to point fingers. I agree with you on the "Social Justice" angle. Small note on that (keeping myself honest and all): I'm not going to write off a game just because the player character is male, but if there's no plot or character driven reason for the player character to be a specific sex I'd prefer the option to choose. Yes, I'm a bit biased sweatdrop

I can't say I know what you mean regarding Gaia. I started logging back in about a week ago and things have definitely changed, but I don't know the history of it. Certain forums are less mature, so I generally avoid participating in legitimate discussion in them. I don't mean to give false hope or anything, but the topic is back on the first page, so the OP could see it and respond.
