Dani silently sat down on her bed listening to the rain hit against her window. She closed her eyes and allowed her thoughts to take full control of her mind. As she opened her eyes again all she could her was the soft faint of melody coming from her ipod. She seemed lost and unsure of what to do. She need to be around him, he was her peace and he was her comfort. She sat up and huddled her legs close to her body. With a faint sigh she gazed at the window once more, “I want him..”
She gazed down and yelled a soft cry of frustration. ‘He said he’d call.’ She though. ‘He said nothing would happen and he’d call.’ She hit her pillow and started to sniff. She stood up and walked over to the window and looked out, her tears falling like streams. “Where are you?” she whispered. “Why haven’t you called?” As she said that her phone started vibrating, she quickly looked over and grabbed it. As she opened it up she answered in a faint voice, “Hello..”
She stood there listening quietly as the person took in several breaths of air, her heart pounding fast as she waited for them to answer, to her relief he said, “Sorry, it took so long to care baby.” Dani smiled and felt the tears fall again.
She stood there a minute silently crying before replying to him, “I was so worried.. I thought something bad happened..” She walked towards her bed and took a seat on it. “Are you okay?” she asked faintly. “Will you come over today? Please?” The deparation in her voice was loud enough for him to notice.
He smiled and laughed a little, trying hard to ease her worry. It was a bit of bad luck for him to get into the little argument when he did. He knew he had to call her and simply forgot the time. By the time it was finished, he saw it was half past 8, and he was 3 hours late. He was worried she’d be mad that he didn’t call on time. “You didn’t have to be worried, nothing happened.” He looked at the cut on his lip and sighed. “I’m fine, baby.” He looked at his watch and looked outside. The weather was clearing up and he could go to her house. “Yeah, baby. I’ll be there soon.” As he heard her giggle slightly he smiled. “Baby, I’ll call you back when I’m 10 minutes away.” When he heard her say ‘Okay’, he smiled. She quickly said, ‘I love you’ and waited for him to reply. “I love you too see you soon okay.”
As he heard her click the phone he sat on his bed. His hair was messed up and his lip hurt as hell. But he promised to go see her and he would. As he walked down stairs to his car he opened the door and saw the picture of them kissing. They weren’t together, officially. But it was like they were together, they acted like a couple and stayed at eachothers house. It was funny to him because they’d always laugh and watch movies, talk, and play games. He loved her and she was perfect, he was just unsure if they would suit. He’d do anything to be with her and he was glad he had her life. He quickly got into his car and turned on the enginee, as he pulled out of the drive way he turned onto the main road towards her house. He took a left than another left. He drove for 5 minutes before making a right and pulling into her driveway. As he looked he saw none of the lights on and her parents weren’t home. He quickly got out of the car and locked the door and walk to her doorstep.
As he was going to knock, Dani opened the door and jumped into his arms. He held her tightly and walked inside the house closing the door behind them, “Thank you for the wonderful greeting,” he whispered into her hair. He felt her shiver and kissed her tenderly onto the lips. As he set her down, he grabbed her hand and they started towards her room.
Dani paused at the door and looked at him with a smile, “Are you hungry? I’ll make you something to eat.” As he shook his head she walked in and shut the door, she wrapped her arms around his neck, and wrapped her legs around his waist. He moved towards the bed and smiled, he bent down and kissed her deeply….
