Man, dogs just hate that don't they? My parent's dog was always a baby whenever she had to get them trimmed!

Yeah, winter is when we get most of our precipitation. Between November and February. I would describe it mostly as moderate but it can get quite hot in the summer!

I'm sure it can get quite cold there in the wintertime!

2023 was a really weird year for us, it was cool all year, even during summer, and very wet during winter. To the point where the local mountains around where I live got snow! The last time I remember that happening was when I was in the 4th grade! I'm hoping this year will be a little more moderate, but I still think that we are in the El Niño and La Niña weather pattern so it will probably trend cool and wet again.

It was good! It's been sunny for the past two days which is a nice break. I love the rain, and living where I do in California, we are always happy with more rain.
But it's nice to have a little sun to make it feel spring like! How's the weather where you are at?

Yes, I agree with almost all you said. People focus their own troubles to the exclusion of all else it would seem. They zero in on essentially the "highlight reel" of other people's social media and wonder why can't they have it that good? And then they get disillusioned and negative. This site is pretty much the only social media platform I use! I truly believe that I am happier because of it, rather than looking at photos of people's vacations and feeling envy or listening to their negativity and getting bummed out. I always try to remember "Someday, you will miss today." Enjoy what good fortune you have now, instead of focusing on the bad, and try to spread positivity!

That's great! Sometimes I feel like many people have forgotten that it feels good to be kind and help other folks. Empathy is so important, especially in these times!

She sounds adorable, glad the vet visit is just for a check-up and that she's not sick!

Yeah, very happy to be on the weekend. I actually quite like the Sunday Monday weekend, It's nice to have a weekday off to run errands and what not.

Seems like you're back to work tomorrow, I hope that you feel better by then.

I actually woke up feeling unwell too. I started feeling it last night at work and now I am definitely sick.

I'm just happy it's on my weekend so I don't miss work!
