Heh, yes. I know the situation all too well. ; Scanners, worldwide, seem to get their dose of amusement by being both malign and stubborn. Not the best combination. ;
I've never been to Georgetown, but it sounds scenic enough to inspire some substantial curiosity. (:

It's perfectly alright, I haven't been on in an age. [Though I have been wandering about the MMORPG areas.] I'm very glad to hear you joined dev-art, by the way. I only ever go on anymore, for browsing for illustrations from books that I'm reading. [It's always interesting to see the variety of impressions of some of the characters, out there.] I never managed to make it to the Halloween event, by the way--I spent a night and a day riding the train with my younger sibling, [heh..and the same back, after the weekend,] to go to a series of Halloween parties a friend insisted were necessary for our general health. We never did make it to their college campus, but likely touched down in every major party running in the city, that night. Heh..; Mm..That's terrible to hear you're not in range, server-wise. I certainly hope that they expand it sometime soon.
Heh..And that sounds like quite the awkward experience, near the end, there. ; It's not the least bit cruel, if you showed him you had no interest in catering to his intentions. You took the initiative, and did the smart thing. [Heh..I hope you don't think all college students are like this, now..

Heh..Yes, I'm sure they would've. It's interesting to think that, at the point when we are finally able to move between planets, we might be considered the 'alien invaders' by another species. Especially if their planet has energy sources that would be possible for us to tap. We would certainly have to marshal our restraint and good will, to keep from taking damaging advantage of their resources, as we've done with earth's.
..Er.

Mm, I hope I get around to making something I won't be embarrassed about putting in the arena, heh.
..Once I improve a bit more, I think I might just go for it~. 'Twould be quite the experience. x)

Sorry for my near-infinite hiatuses from the site, by the way--I can't believe I missed the entire Halloween event--. *wry grin* Oh well. At least the MMORPG is up--I've been hearing hints of this thing since 04, so it's incredible that I just logged in today, and it was complete and fully-functional. Heh..It's a better present than fifty bags of Halloween candy-loot, I'm convinced.

Well, anyway~
It's great to be able to get back to you, again.
I think I went a bit overboard, in thinking I could handle all of the advanced courses I would need over the years, at once. I've been working night-and-day nonstop, since my term began..It's an uphill battle, but it's certainly been interesting. (:
