Once, there was a Duke who served his King. One day, the two had an argument and the Duke stormed off to his castle. Still angry, the King had his army come and surround the Duke's castle, demanding the Duke to surrender his castle for transgressions against the King.

Inside the castle, the Duke tried to wait out the King. However, he knew that there wasn't enough supplies inside to last his family, and his soldiers and their families, for much longer. As the days drew on, something had to be done, and the Duke was preparing to surrender, in order to spare his people.

Before he could do so, another plan was hatched inside the castle. The women of the castle wrote a letter and sent is to King. It read:

"We beg for mercy from the noble king. The fate before us is obvious. For a quick end of hostilities, we will surrender the castle if the women and castle within are allowed to leave first with whatever they can carry on their backs."

The king quickly agreed and stated that at dawn tomorrow, they would be allowed to leave and the castle surrendered soon after.

In the morning at dawn, the castle opened its doors and let down its bridge. The women and children appeared and started slowly leaving the castle. As they drew closer to the king, he saw that each woman had hoisted her husband onto her back, and was doing her best to carry him. In turn, each man tried his best to stay off the ground. The king laughed as he saw the sight and pardoned the Duke.

In memory of the brave women, the castle has been renamed. Its new name is the Castle of the Faithful Wives.

I was watching Sailor Moon clips, logged onto gaia afterward and saw your avatar.
I liked it, so I went to check out your profile and it so happened Serena was your background.
I found it interesting that on the top it says "And they call it legend" because before watching Sailor Moon, I was watching Spartacus.
I decided not to just be a creep and actually read your profile.
You pointed out the comment section, asked if your visitors would care to tell you a story and so I thought I should tell you the story of how I stumbled on your page.

Yeah. I seriously almost died on the inside when I saw that ending.
The longest and most important arc of the series came to a close, and a new one started, so I feel like a piece of my fandom has passed.
Bleach and Fruits Basket jump started my interest in anime, but as Bleach is my personal favorite, the changes in the series was both happy and sad.
