That's awful! That's one of the reasons why I don't like a lot of the newer movies, because half the time, the story and plot are not very well focused on, but instead the effects. Good movies should include all those elements, and not just the work coming from a computer. Then again, I don't blame the kids that don't know anything apart from 3D and robots smashing cars beyond death, since that's what it's all about now a days.

You should totally see Candleshoe some day! It's about this girl who is sold to these con artists trying to rob a treasure from an old lady's mansion. Jody plays that girl, and it just ends up being a very entertaining movie, too. As for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, it's just fun over all. I mean, how can a flying car NOT be fun? xd

I pretty much grew up on nothing but Disney movies, practically since I was born. The first one I ever saw was Bambi, and I had to be less than a year old. I think my favorite animation was Sleeping Beauty, and The Lion King.

I've never seen those movies, but I do agree, Angela Lansbury is amazing. I think it's wonderful that she's still apart of our of generation, despite how old she's become. Heck, she's been on Broadway this past year, which is awesome in itself. I keep needing to see her film, Gaslight, but I haven't gotten around to it. xP

My other favorite Disney movies from the 70's are Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Candleshoe, which is another lesser known movie, but it's really good. It has Jodie Foster when she was younger.

It's ok! That movie is super old, and it's one of the few Disney movies that people don't know about. I'd say your not nerdy at all. It seriously hasn't gotten the credit that it deserves, which is a real shame. I find it one of the few made by Disney that isn't over the top and cheesy, but in sense just right. Plus, I'm a fan of some REALLY old films that no one would know about, unless you were a film historian. xD

I saw it on TV a couple weeks ago, and it totally reminded me of my watching it so much when I was little. Plus, Eglantine is such a unique, and some what pretty name...and I had that song stuck in my head, too. So I decided to change my name to that. =p
