yeh i'm super bored with the legs bit and it's like, u would think, someone watches a movie/story/whatever that is supposed to be about a mermaid, that they are PROBABLY interested in MERMAIDS!! not just awkward women walking around argh. it's annoying cuz this isn't alice in wonderland or something, they are a normal legend that was known throughout the world, the guy who wrote "the little mermaid" didn't invent them so there is absolutely NO need for ever singel story ever to rip off the "loses her voice and falls in love" thing good golly x/ ! it honestly isn't that good of a story and in the original she dies at the end, right??? so everyone wants to rip it off but nobody wants to stay true to it lol *throws everyone*

there actually is a japanese anime with a merman and he falls in love with a human dude and its quite cute but is just a movie not a series. and i think he actually never grows legs either, he was like, staying athe guy's house, in a blow-up kiddy pool in his living room so he could watch tv lol

there is another anime about a centaur going to school with these other mythical animals and well... they have "mermaids" but they are the stupid kind where the tail is only from the knees down, not the hips down, i dont like that style.

movies n stuff is always ALWAYS just women, and fine whatever i guess but also they always, ALWYAS every single time, gotta grow legs and be human. DX defeats the purpose for me. we saw one that was so bad we didn't even watch it all the way thru and we're bad movie fans so that's really saying something. she had legs from beginning to the end, u only knew she was a mermaid cuz she just said she was. u never got to see her with a tail even once. bah!

i'm always so disappointed that every time there is a merman in anything it's always like an anthro fish thing, and not just a hot guy with a tail >.<
there was some kinda nickolodean cartoon at walmart
like not even "it's anime for older ppl" but just plain down lol, like for little small kids
but it had mermaid boys and i was like I WOULD TOTALLY WATCH IT
JUST CUZ NOTHING ON EARTH EVER HAS MALE MERPEOPLE
EVER!!!!
*rants about it for a bit and signs u an autograph*
