Hellsing then. You'll love it. Try to find Hellsing Ultimates as there's the official and the Series. The series is alright but the Ultimates really get into their characters more and are just badass in general.

Eh I'm not into Yaoi. The closest I've ever gotten was watching some anime about a kid who wished to avenge his family and decided to join samurai ranks. It involved lots of crying and emotional man to man moments. X3
