It's rude to give advice when someone doesn't ask for it, yes.
I made a mistake in hoarding too many when I wanted to sell them at market price, and I'd bought the bundles for a good deal in the exchange, so I wanted to resell the rest of them.
And, this is the kind of elitist attitude I'm talking about... the 'I've been doing this more than you, so I know better'. If I wanted advice, I'd ask for it, simple as that. The methods in which I get gold are really none of your business unless I asked.
I'm sure that someone's attitude is worth being irritated about. It gets really old really quickly.
A lot of things come off as rude on the internet, even if you didn't intend it to be. Just like it's hard to tell whether something is sarcasm or not.
And yes, my statuses are just so humorous.
First you said that you weren't sure if I had enough gold...and now it's that I'm already selling something off. Pick a reason.
To begin with though, it -is- rude to give unsolicited advice.
And what was the lol intended for? :l
It just seems rude...
I'm already a hoarder P: I'm selling off my current hoard right now, hence the double rainbows
'you should try vending' works better. and 'learn' implies that I don't exactly know what I'm doing...along with the lol
That may be the case, but I'm not one of those exchangers. At least not for a long time. :S like I said, exchanging has brought me a lot more gold from my past experience.
If I don't make as much gold as you please, that's not really your problem to begin with.
And, just as a note, I found the way you said things to be smart-alecky. Especially the unnecessary "lol" >.>
I personally think exchanging is a lot more efficient, and I've had way more success with it than vending from my experiences.. Though I find that hard to believe from: "Which i have seen happen to you and you continue on even though i warn you not to"
