My name is Pi. Some people think this is not my name, but my definition of a "real name" is a name people really use to refer to you. If you don't like it, good luck getting any other names. I am currently a Junior in high school, and in case I don't update this for a while, it is currently Tuesday, February 15, 2010. Even if a few years pass before I update this, there is now enough information to approximate my age for any who are curious. Some of my hobbies are Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: the Gathering, rhythm games (e.g. Rock Band, Dance Dance Revolution), playing my ocarina (and to a lesser extent my alto saxophone, the school's alto clarinet, and the school's bass clarinet, all four of which I play in my school's band), and doing math. That's right, I occasionally do math problems because I am bored. I have been known to do other people's math extra credit problems during my Latin class. Also, I do some programming. I am mostly working in Java, since I am currently taking AP Computer Science, and the AP exam only cares about Java, but I also know enough of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Scheme, and ActionScript to get by (assuming I have access to an online guide).

Recently I have started to play MineCraft, and I have been keeping myself busy with redstone circuits. I made an adder which is capable of adding two numbers, each an integer between 0 and 3 inclusive. I also made a password system for the door to my fortress of solitude. I have also designed (but not yet made) machines capable of doing more math. I designed an adding machine which stores a number and allows the user to add to that an integer between 0 and 3 inclusive, and this has a "clear" button to allow the user to set the stored value to 0. I also designed an adder to add two integers each from 0 to 7, inclusive. The last thing I designed was something to multiply two integers, each from 0 to 7, inclusive. For all those who say I have spent too much time on this, I agree.

I would try to think of more to write, but it is past midnight and I have school today. Good night!
