Pretty much everywhere except your earlobes has important s**t in it {allegedly, perhaps this isn't true}.
I agree... I feel that all finals should be papers, because I feel that I learn things better from papers than I do from anything else. But whatever.
No... I didn't drink on New Year's... I'm at my preppy aunt's house, and, though I was perfectly capable of drinking, she has a nose like a bloodhound and would've smelled it. {she can smell the coffee pot in the kitchen while at the diagonally opposite end of the house, and two stories above it}
Actually hangovers are related to a number of causes which include dehydration {drink water}, vitamin deficiency, usually vitamin B12, in which case I eat something with nutritional yeast and drink orange juice, or alcohol detox {meaning you weren't extremely drunk, per say, you were just drunk for a long time and your body's chemistry isn't adjusting to sobriety very well, in which case you drink a small amount of weak alcohol, like a beer or a glass of wine. A very very small amount of hard liquor works too}.
If you are dehydrated, it's fairly obvious because water will taste delicious if you drink it, if you are experiencing alcohol detox you'll feel sick {not stomach pain sick, that's just because alcohol is harsh on your stomach, sick as in... Well, detox. It's a peculiar kind of sick}, and if it's anything else you just need to fix your vitamin levels and you'll be good.

I'm fine with blood... I just keep hoping my family will let me get it done professionally, because there are important nerves or veins or something in the top of your ear and apparently you can mess it up... {someone I know had a friend who screwed something up by trying to pierce her ear herself}
School's been alright. I think I may have failed my first semester of college, but there's nothing I can do now. I've never done badly on finals before, and that's because I never gave a s**t before. If I failed, I just had to re-take courses. Not a big deal. But if I fail out of college, I don't even know where I'll live. Thus, finals week felt like being dangled above a shark tank by a piece of thread, and I was way to stressed out to sleep, eat, think, or focus and most of my finals turned into complete catastrophes.
And the major catastrophe of finals week was when I got drunk one night after having spent four days reading to research for a paper, and was so stressed out that I couldn't read anymore, so I decided to just drink a little bit, but somehow that turned into a lot and I didn't really sober up until 6pm the next day, and my paper was due at noon the day after that. {writing a 10-page paper in less than 24 hours when you haven't slept more than 3 hours a night in the past week is just about impossible. And if you do write it, it will suck}

I suppose that's true.
I think cartilage piercings are cool. I keep meaning to pierce my ears, but I keep not getting around to it...
Other than that, how have you been?

That is intense...
I agree, I think trailers are actually affordable housing... But trailers parks are a whole bunch of poor people clustered together, which classifies it as ghetto.
That's pretty much true... Rich people can buy their way out of anything.

Yeah, I've heard about people like that... It would suck to get pregnant and still have your period, because you probably wouldn't know until the kid was born so you wouldn't do anything to make sure the kid was healthy when it was born.
{maybe, although you might notice your stomach getting bigger}
I lived in Johnstown, NY for a while... It's an all-white ghetto, a phenomenon which seems to only occur on the east coast {elsewhere in the country these take the form of trailer parks}, and no one seems to understand the concept of a white ghetto. I actually knew people who had a door made of duct tape and cardboard until they got really high and woke up on their floor with a mystery door propped against their wall {only to realize that a door was now missing from a house a few blocks away}. It might be white, it might be a semi-cute small town {if you drive down main street and hit all green lights, it can seem quaint}, and the people might lack the infamous ghetto accent {for the most part}, but it's still ghetto. Whiteness does not equal richness.
See, that's why high school sucks. There's a class about that topic at my school.
Yeah... I think I just have a problem with the idea of an elite few having the right to do certain things without the same consequences... It seems kind of contrary to the ideals upon which this nation was founded, because we're not really all equal if some people can beat people, cause property damage, and basically kidnap people without any possibility of repercussion.

No, I get what you mean. I think the only good reasoning for a surrogate parent is when someone who can get pregnant but, due to whatever causes, couldn't carry a pregnancy to full term {by this I mean legit medical reasons, not just not wanting to}, and then it saves the unborn child's life.
I mean, I think everyone's a little bit racist. With the way society is constructed and people are wired, it sort of creates these groups of people who act and speak in similar ways. However, while it's perfectly acceptable to say "rich white kids" everyone assumes your racist if you say "ghetto black kids". However, anyone with a small amount of common sense understands that they, personally, are not exactly what they appear to be and therefore, logically, neither is anyone else. But some people just seem to get ridiculously angry when sorted into a group, and thus we have racism.
The law should value vigilante justice more... The law basically is people looking out for people, what's the difference between that and some random guy?

Ah, teachers... They have such great moments.
Well, you never know. I could like get some random chick to be a surrogate for my child. That could totally happen.
The cops actually are racist. I once knew this kid who got arrested and sent to juvy because he was walking down Colorado Boulevard and saw a girl run out of an apartment building, bruised and frightened, then trip and fall on the ground. And then this guy came out after her and started beating her while she was down, and in the traffic and crowds of Colorado boulevard, no one did anything. So he punched the guy hard enough to knock him off the girl and let the girl get away.
However, he was black, so the good Samaritan act didn't apply.
And no one who saw this happen backed up either party and the white abusive boyfriend {or maybe husband} said he was randomly attacked.
Everyone's a little bit racist from time to time. We should all just give up on trying to be obscenely tolerant and admit that.

That sucks... I once got a C- on a paper because my first year sem teacher was having a bad week. It was my first paper, too... And I wrote it while ridiculously sick {with a fever over 100}, staying awake on sheer dayquil and coffee, coughing out a lung, and feeling like I was about to vomit, and I put like 12 straight hours of work changing it from a rough draft to a final draft
I don't know... I'm concerned because I have a lot of work, and because I know that if I do badly on these finals, I might loose scholarship or something, and besides my family put so much into helping me go to college that I feel that if I were to get infracted {what happens when you get caught doing something in violation of the rules} or get bad grades, they'd feel like they shouldn't have trusted me, and they barely trust me enough to be here. They barely even trust me with money, and when I go to my aunt's house over break she won't let me leave the house unaccompanied. Which is ridiculous, because I have not gotten a girl pregnant, been arrested, or stolen stuff to pay for hard drugs, and the family members responsible for such actions were trusted far more than me.
Plus, I have no idea what, besides some hell-bound self-destructive path, I would do if I got kicked out of here.
So stress...
That's a fairly valid point... I think that parents sometimes lack logic.... It's like they don't really think about what they do.
I hope that at least you're having fun.

It's alright... I mean, finals week is approaching, so I'm kind of pre-stressing about how stressful finals week will be. And I got no work done over break, which means that if I sleep tonight, it will be a miracle. But it's all good.
How have you been?

Yeah... I feel like I'm the same way, just it feels so strange to be alone on a college campus. You sit alone in your room doing homework and all you can hear, no matter how loud the music is, is other people talking to each other and social things happening. I've started doing my homework in groups just because college makes you feel so ridiculously isolated and left out when you're alone for longer than five seconds. People ask other people to walk to the bathroom with them. It's ridiculous.
I've slept since Wednesday, I just haven't fallen asleep before 3am. 3am has become early for me, my current average bedtime is 5:30am. Then I have class at 9 or 10:30, plus I usually have to edit my homework in the morning because sleep deprivation is not pretty.
Man... I have to write at least two three-page papers a week, I had to read a whole book last week, plus a s**t ton of random articles, plus I have to read through a French text that is so far above my reading level that it takes me six hours to struggle through three or four pages.
I'd be one of those wimpy kids who drops out in the first couple weeks, but I know I don't have many other options at this point {and by many other options I mean it's this or I drop out, work at Price Chopper and go to night school}, so I have to stick with it, even if it kills me {or something close}.
So how have you been?

It's fine...
I hate how people just implant drama in the most mundane of situations... People just need to {to quote Taoism} be like water. You know how, in a gas, the particles bounce off each other, and in a solid, they're rigid and they never move? People need to be water. Let each other be, yet still move and interact, but go with the flow.
The one cool thing about dorms is that you never have to travel to find friends... They're somewhere on campus, or you can ask their roommate where they went.
Guess who hasn't slept much in the past... However many days ago Wednesday was? Me. Goddamn college homework. Nothing I say makes sense right now.

We're teenagers... We're half-formed messes of random hormones. s**t like that happens... It's normal...
That sucks... It's my second week of college and three of my friends got in a fight and I stayed up until four trying to comfort one of my friends because it got really heated and they were all pissed at her and they were best friends...
College is intense... Highschool is too, but at least you go home at the end of the day and there's not always about ninety of your classmates in the same building...

Man...
If you want to drop out, you should. But what's important to consider here is how moronically retarded you will look when you're nineteen in sophomore classes, which will happen eventually because it's pretty hard to get anywhere in this world without a high school diploma or a GED. {this happened to a girl named Genie who I knew when I lived in Johnstown. It looks like it pretty much sucks. Teachers never take you seriously, and if you're out sick they get in your face about it}.
But the point is, one should always do things with a plan. Sometimes GEDs work out. {like my cousin Chris, for example. He's an middle-class massage therapist and he dropped out in eighth grade} But you have to know yourself and know what you want to do and what level of education you need to do that.
I'm not sure where I'm going with that... 6 hours of sleep + 11 hours of work = incoherent rambling. Pay no attention.
That sucks man... Science teachers are generally pretty disturbing people...

Yes, but it's not highschool...
You might be... I journal updated it, but I did that when the notification thing was being retarded, so... Yeah.
I got into college. [link=http://simons-rock.edu/]Here[/link]. After I found myself on the other side of the country, sleeping in my aunt's guest bedroom/my other aunt's futon, I realized I don't really have a home base anymore. And it's disorienting and strange. Upon deciding that living in a strange limbo of other people's couches/spare rooms was disorienting and just altogether awkward, I decided to drop out and go to Community College/work at a grocery store or something. Then I found Simon's Rock and figured it was the same basic idea, just instead of being a sleazy community college it's actually... A legitimate college. With real degrees. And a beautiful campus.
So I applied, and the person who interviewed me really liked me and despite the fact that I'm not exactly a prestigious student {I put in no effort, have no extracurricular activities, and I'm never on time}, I somehow got in.
So in four days, I will fill my aunt' s minivan with boxes and drive 2 1/2 hours to college.
Which is kind of disorienting. I've learned you can't predict anything, because if you asked me last year what I thought I'd be doing next year, I'm quite sure this wouldn't even have crossed my mind.
But I feel like my future's less ominous now, so this is quite possibly a good thing.
So.... Yeah.

That sounds really fun...
Well, I start school on Saturday {but I'm driving to campus on Friday}, so... I have no friends in Newton, and more importantly do not want friends in Newton as the majority of the residents of this impossibly large swath of suburbia are really irritating, and those that aren't isolate themselves and are friends with no one. But that's not really important. What is important is that I'm spending my last five days as a highschooler working and eating.
I mean, I would like to do something more epic, but I don't want my aunt to worry, so...
But... I think it's all good. I mean, in a few days I'll be on my own. In the Berkshires, which is really cool.
So yeah...

You should find some tutorials, then. They're not creative and they don't make art {well, the make a copy of someone else's art}, but they are a good way to learn all the features of Photoshop.
{I had a Photoshop free trial for a while and learned how to do better photo edits. It's not exactly the same, but it's close}

I don't think an exact date is certain yet, but we're thinking the mall (hope you know which one, because even if this is your profile, it's still pretty public) as a tentative place. I really hope this works out, unlike a few of our failed plans to meet up. I miss everyone SO MUCH. And seeing each other again is going to be wonderful.

Aww, thanks! ^///^ To be honest, I kind of tossed random stuff together and then noticed it was kinda cute. ^.^" Ahaha...

Also, do you think you might be able to make it to a meetup with Tash, Asya, and me at some point before the summer's over?
