...And a happy very belated new year~ XD I haven't been on Gaia for more than an hour this past month - much less internet time when I'm at home.

Don't worry about it, I space all the time~ I'm super-forgetful. When it comes to important things, I have to leave brightly coloured notes around my room to make sure I do them.

That's really awesome~ I think it'd make learning more fun, although it might take some of the fun out of gaming to unwind, you know?

I learnt my hiragana and katakana for Japanese more easily thanks to a free game I downloaded, though.

Sorry I'm so late replying! I though I had already then when I looked on your profile just now I realised I hadn't... I have such a terrible memory. XP

Anyway, I think it's a pretty good time to experiment. If you have talent, creatively, and the desire to make use of it not just as a hobby, I think it can only be a good thing to look into all the things you're interested in. I've been kind of interested in photography for ages, but I've never done anything about it... I don't think I'd have a good eye for it or anything, and I'd be likely to break cameras (or at least temporarily incapacitate them) frequently. XD *clumsy*

Oh, I see~ It's a while back to be remembering about that stuff - I have trouble remembering the date I went on holiday this year and it was only 3 months ago. XD;; That's kind of a big change in direction, but I can relate~ I used to want to be a vet, but I really wouldn't be cut out for it.

It's not part of an English major, I'm just... studying Japanese and also studying linguistics. I could have done English Studies, but the linguistic aspect is what really appealed to me so since there was a separate linguistics field, I chose that. I'm actually studying Japanese and linguistics as equal parts of a joint honours degree, although I'd be majoring in Japanese if I could. Stupid biased modular program won't let me major in a non-European language... ):

Game design~~~ *drools* Oh, I'd love to have the kind of talent that'd allow me to do that. As it is, I just might have to settle for translating games some day...

I'm studying Japanese with a side of Linguistics at the moment, although since my uni works on a modular system I should have more Linguistics after Christmas. Really, really hoping to end up working for Tokyopop or Viz or someone, translating anime or manga. >w< I'd kind of like to translate almost anything, though, as long as I wasn't doing sometihng like business translation all the time. I get overly passionate when it comes to fitting words together, hence my choice of subjects for my degree. *geek* XD

Was there anything in particular that made you guess environmental science? I just have friend who's studying that at the moment, so I'm curious as to whether or not it was a complete guess. X3
