If he has full custody of her then he can call the insurance people and basically cancle her card and re-apply for one with his name. He'll have to print out documents that prove hes got full custody but that shouldn't be a problem. Expecially since she had to go to rehab and all that junk. I just feel sorry for the brother. I mean hes stuck in that situation. He'll always be taking care of his mom and that might effect his development later on. I know my ex was pretty messed up for a similur experience.

Wow....Well theres not much you can do. Is the custody alternating because I think the da should try and get full. She really needs medical services and if the mum is being a b***h like this then there is no way in hell that she should have them.

people like that never see it as their problem. She'll place the blame on the dad because it saves her from taking responsibility for her actions but to let their child suffer because of this argument just makes me wanna rage.

Have you talked to the dad bout this? She really needs to talk to someone because it isn't safe to bottle it up. As an adult or teenager is gonna blow and bad things can happen.

ugh......I have a horrible feeling that the mum is trying to use the kids agaisnt the dad. It happens when parents have a bitter seperation. Either that or disownment which is sad. I'm not sure what to suggest since its really out of your hands.

Hummm your right. She really does need some help however I don't think she'll talk to some one like a cousiler. At 9 you almost have to trick it out of them. It would either have to be something you pay good money for rather than free or a good family friend she trusts that could take her out an inadvertently ask questions.

Yeah I can see that. hummmm does she go to school yet? There are cousilers there that might be able to help or at least be able to listen. I kinda wonder if her lines are blurred between right and wrong or if they were never taught to her in a positive way. Most kids know not to steal and if you bring them back to that store to return the item then normally they learn their lesson but I dunno....If she came from a troubled home its always something more complicated.

wow what an additute. If shes pulling that now I can only imagine what kind of teenager shes gonna be. Have your sister and her boyfriend looked into finding a new babysitter? I'm sure ther there has to be another kid around the block who would be willing to make a couple of bucks once in a while. I just wonder why she's not talking to you. Maybe you and your sister could sit her down and ask?
