Hmm, Wheel of Time... I always see that series in the bookstores, second-hand or otherwise. My friend says I shouldn't bother with it and ought to read George R R Martin instead.



Dragonlance... if you really want to get into it, start with either Legend of Huma, or the Chronicles. The Chronicles are "Dragons of Autumn Twilight," "Dragons of Winter Night," and "Dragons of Spring Dawning." After that, The Legends Trilogy. That'd be "Time of the Twins," "War of the Twins," and "Test of the Twins." That's a pretty standard order to read the series. Everything else... if you were remotely interested in a certain aspect of the story, you can look into it. There are innumerable prequels that create a remarkable backstory into each of the main characters. Some are good, some are meh.

But definately read Legend of Huma ^^.

Right now, I'm reading West of January by Dave Duncan. It's... interesting.

About what we were chatting earlier, Tad Williams' "Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn" trilogy is awesome. The books that are part of that trilogy are called, "The Dragonbone Chair," "Stone of Farewell," and "Green Angel Tower," parts one and two.



My other favourite fantasy series is the Dragonlance series ^^. Although the book that stands out the most out of it is "The Legend of Huma." Definately one of my favourite fantasy books of all time. You could read it standalone without the original chronicles, I did. First Dragonlance book I was introduced too ^^.



I hope you find one of those books I suggested a worthwhile read ^^; I'll make sure to look into Raymond Feist one of these days.
