So this is the part where I impress you with my amazing writting talents, right?My name in RL is Cat, so my sign in is not merely fancy. I have a good friend who will seem **suspiciously** familiar to you on Gaia who is called Petarus Breviceps, but their real name is not sugar glider.
I live in Seattle Washington, with a household of ultra nerds and or pagans. Eight of them. And I love them all, even when they piss me off. I enjoy comuter gaming, playing on my Wii, tabletop gaming, laughing, singing, drawing, gardening and stargazing, but my real passion is photography. I hope to go back to school for more photography/art training.
In my free time I plan reenactment costuming. My favourite period of time historically and stylistically is the High Middle Ages (1300-1400). Cottage industry, cotehardies and sideless surcotes all the way! June Faire is the highlight of my year every year because I get to run amuck wearing garb. It's like Yule, only three days worth of it, and oh so much better. SCA people are some of my favourites. If I had a choice, I'd gather SCA people and theater people around me, and wear garb alllllllll the time.
I spend alot of time hanging out in real life (you know-the non-digital kind?) with someone I'm going to refer to as "C", (called Captain Kurisotofa) and his loverbunny who I'll refer to as "A",(who's avi name I'm not sure of).
I am not allowed to tell you where I work because I'll get canned or worse. My work is pretty great, but they're really bothered by blogging ect. If I say something as an employee of this place, what I say can be interrpreted as an official announcement. Even if my statement is "I like cheese!," things could get messy.)
I accept commissions for avi art. I don't have photoshop, so I'm not going to be pricey with the commissions for now. Maybe after a while I'll get an image editing program, but for now it's going to be pen and paper-type line art. I can also do some nifty collage effects with line art cutouts and bits of cloth and stuff.
I have a photobucket account. I'll set up a link to it once I figure out how to do it without giving everyone access to the controls.
For now though, here are some of my first samples of random sketches.
I'll add more as I damn well please.
