Well if you read the Wikia there was an item called the Traveler's Locket that was used to travel between worlds. Apparently Alexander used this locket and somehow lost it when he arrived in Mayfeild. Either that or he was banished into this world by someone else and stuck there. Whatever the case that's why he was using the Orbs, to recreate the locket (except in a much larger scale) and get back home. Which was the only reason he helped Daniel because Daniel had a orb. And the orb he previously had (that was Agrippa's) shattered. Which Daniel ended up putting back together to get to Alexander.
But yes... I do wish he was able to get home.
Did you know he probably (this is just my way of thinking) might have had Daniel come with him to his world if things were different (i.e Daniel not being corrupted)? I wish that happened... I truly do. ;^;

Yes, it is quite interesting. Alexander can be found out more here along with the rest of the game.
Yes, he did have a wife in another world. Alexander wasn't at all part of Daniel's world, he's a traveler who go stuck in Daniel world and forced to wait until he can finally make his way home. And its not clear if his wife was dead or not. But considering that Alexander was prolonging his life for at least 300 years she may as well be dead.
And another thing thats really interesting about Alexander. His old body, isn't really his body. Its a husk, sorta like Agrippa in his body thats just hanging there. So, my friend told me that she believed that if you throw the head of Agrippa into the portal it gets destroyed and so does Alexander but since he's able to travel through that world does it mean that Agrippa regain his true body in the other world? So imagine if Daniel let Alexander go through the portal. Then that would mean that Alexander could really be a young man around Daniel's age if that was his 'original body' in his actual home world (poor guy was homesick for 300 years)
And the one reason Alexander looks old was becuase of this phrase.
Aged not by time, but by anguish.
Its really quite interesting. And I wrote a lot. o.o

Mhm.
Yeah, I have a whole lot of explanation to Alexander that it would take up a crap load of comments to fill up. (though I highly doubt that, but who knows) hes just a fascinating character and its unfortunate they didn't delve deeper into his character in the game as much as I would have liked.

I can't help it. And yeah, he was using him like real git. But hey, I always find something decent about jerk-like characters. I dunno. I analyzed the whole game so I understand it pretty well. -shrug-

Aqua and terra are Seniors and I mention Ven in my bio saying Aqua met him when he was a freshman. Soo Ven could be a sophomore? ; D
