Its hard to say. She is always trying to get attention though, and thinks everyone is out to get her.

Yeah her mom made sure she never had money. She would get hundreds from relatives on her birthday and then her mom would blame her for something broken (ie, a hairdryer) and make her buy a new one. But shes doing well, despite it all.

Well she actually moved out of her moms house ON her 17th birthday which was on the 5th. She's thinking she'll stay here until she finishes highschool (we go to the same school, and she should be graduating early after the fall semester.) Until then she's opened a bank account and is saving up for when she gets her own apartment.

Oh she's staying here. My parents don't mind, she has a job and is getting on medicaid and food stamps for a bit since she's still 17 (which is legal in my state.) They know her mom and they understand, plus we have the extra space. The drama is more or less just her mom throwing fits and calling us at 1am to tell my dad she has "proof he is a *****." Which she doesn't because he's not. XD
