I really get what you mean. I don't think I've ever worked so many jobs at one time though O_O you must be really exhausted! D:

And yes. I've felt this way a LOT. I know I should have a lot of life ahead of me still. But I feel really unhappy with certain things. I've always wanted to be able to speak another language and actually have the chance to [i]use[/i] it. I actually originally really wanted to go to college to major in foreign language &amp; international affairs. But the places I had to choose from did not offer those, and none of the colleges I've looked at offer Japanese either. Right now I'm kind of taking BS classes at a community college just to be doing something while I wait for the summer. I'm sorry to hear about your recent break up, but I'm glad it's empowering you. That's how I felt after my last break up :sweat: My boyfriend has a female friend who lives in Japan and teaches English. From the way it sounds when he mentioned it, she seems really happy. Is post-college depression similar to the depression I had after graduating high school? Most of the time I feel frustrated, thinking I can be doing much more for my life. I want to be adventurous and travel. I want to see the world. I want to feel like I have [i]accomplishments[/i] outside of the "normal" things I do. And I wouldn't worry too much on what other people think. I've made choices that backfired on me before, but they only made me stronger. I took a huge risk coming to the state I'm currently living in, yet I'm still alive and have food in the fridge.

So is it a program you'll be doing that will take you to Japan? For me, I don't know if I have an option for school (because as I said, I don't think it's something I can do while my parents are alive.) But that'd be pretty neat if you can go there through a program. Unless you were referring to the English teaching programs, where you have to meet the requirements and then the company finds housing and stuff for you.

See! That's exactly why I wanted to go into dentistry in the first place. People are AFRAID of the dentist :facepalm: I had a LOT of work done on my teeth for several years back when I was in high school. It was extremely painful and even required surgery. But I got through it. And since that happened, I don't feel like there's much to be afraid of. I want to do something empowering. Either a medical job or a teaching job. I want to be able to help people. And yeah, I know what you mean. It's something I thought about a LOT the last two years. To the point where I dead set on it. But stupid things happened and I ended up having to live with my parents again, which deflated my hopes. Plus, they worry about me constantly even though I'm still in the U.S. I don't think they could even handle/cope if I were to travel to the "outside" world.

Well, I backed the Kickstarter. [spoiler]I could always just email you the versions of them, since they'll be PDF and printable. It won't be coming out until April though, so we still have a little bit to go.[/spoiler] It seems like they'll be making several expansions, including anime related ones. One of my co-workers years ago gave me a 10 Minutes a Day Japanese book. It came with stickers or something for objects, which could be helpful. I've thought of doing that here, but I live in such a small apartment :emo: I bookmarked that website you shared. It seems pretty interesting! I'd definitely like to see what you come up with whenever you have time to upload your work. And yeah, I know what you mean. I have different things I want to myself, like trying to get back to working out. I've also been trying to find new hobbies because I've been pretty bored with what I have. That's why I thought of buying those cards off the Kickstarter in the first place. I want to be able to do things that are actually fruitful. Staring at a computer screen all day just doesn't make me feel like I'm accomplishing anything. I love coffee.

Ahhhhhh. So glad I could have such a positive effect on you! Sounds like you worked a LOT of hours, which definitely sucks. I've been there/done that before and ugh, so exhausting.

I'll see if I can get the mood bubble for cheap somehow. And if not, I guess I'll just buy it. But I'm currently trying to get someone to sell me the Coral Artemis, so most of my funds go into that sweatdrop

And the Japan thing is iffy. I honestly don't think it's something I could do while my parents are alive. They're getting up there in age and I think me leaving the country would devastate them. Especially since they're very paranoid. I've also read that it's not ALWAYS such a "fantasy." That a lot of teachers there don't get put in big cities like Tokyo. The apartments don't offer as much amenities as ours do in the U.S. Quite frankly, I'm scared of culture shock. That, and while I would like a change from the United States, there's a lot that goes into that. I'd need to save up enough money to make it possible. Then I'd need a degree in something (which I don't have yet.) My current plan is to take a dental assisting certification program that only lasts one semester. But maybe AFTER that I can start working full time and saving. I definitely want to travel there, which I think I would want to do first. And maybe with the job, I could put myself through some four year degree that won't kill me in the process lol

I actually found this really neat kickstarter that is a card game for learning how to form sentences in Japanese. Since it's almost over I might back it really quickly. $10 would give me the PDF sets for ALL the card sets they make, and they're planning on making a lot. So that might be something you'd want to look into also if you're wanting other ways to learn. Plus it could be cool to be able to play over the internet with someone.

Thank you! That makes my day. I actually really liked the Artist Application item and wanted to make something cute out of it. So that's what I came up with. I really love making tekteks and avatars so it makes me smile to hear that someone else likes my avatar. I really like how yours flows and the colors match. Plus it just looks so classy/elegant with the way the clothes go together.

Hello! I saw you in the SF and I thought combining the Mood Bubbles was extremely creative! I've been thinking of ways to try and include anti-Gaia cash into my avatar and couldn't find anything good enough. Think I could steal your idea? emotion_kirakira

Also, it's pretty crazy how similar we seem (based on your profile.) I want to learn Japanese and once dreamed of teaching English in Japan. I also game, and used to draw. I love anime, music, cosplay, pokemans, and kjgfgdfgfr.

It's not even a prude thing, I just think they are ugly, all of them. I find something just aesthetically unpleasing about them, I don't know what it is. I think yours are ugly too, but don't worry it's nothing against you they are just all ugly. I do tend to find the ugliest nipples are on larger boobs (so you def don't have the ugliest nipples, unless you've gone up a couple fo cup sizes since I've last seen you in which case nvm they probably are), don't know why, just a noticeable trend to my personal tastes. That might be because the whole sag/squeezy lines (I don't know what to call them, but they way large boobs seem to just be unnaturally twisting from your body even if they aren't saggy) thing have me set off against the large boobs anyhow. I think large boobs look really good in clothes, I think small boobs are much more pleasing naked. As I've found over the years I really enjoy being naked I've come to love my boobs so much more. I know there are definitely worse things on the body, especially old or obese bodies. However those are person to person variants, whereas nipples all disgust me. Cartoon nipples are okay, but the more realistic looking they are the more they make me cringe.

I'm not in a house, me and my boyfriend have a flat together, no roommates (which is the best thing in life right now, man I do not miss having roommates). The only console we have is a broken PS3 (the house last year when we had roommates had a PS2 and a Wii, no Xbox). We also don't have a TV or else we might have gotten a cheap PS2 or something. However, that whole TV license thing I mentioned makes it pointless to have a TV to use as a TV, and as we don't even have a working console we aren't very motivated to get a TV just to use for games. But yea, all those games go pretty cheap on Steam, I have wanted to try Dead Island but I have so many games I haven't played I'm not going to get anymore right now unless they go down to a few pounds or something (which is how I ended up with so many games I haven't played yet in the first place). I think buying games on Steam is still way cheaper than what the Xbox Live membership costs alone, so free games isn't really worth it. Let me know if Dead Island is any good though. Maybe one day.

How could your roommate get another dog? What kind of ******** moron is she? She didn't clean up after the last dog? There is no way I could live with that person, I'd murder her. I mean I have never had a roommate so bad that they irresponsibily got a pet and didn't even clean up after it. Some people took better care of their pets than others but nobody just left common space covered in poop. How can the other two allow that? I mean didn't you guys make her get rid of the last dog? Man I'd put an ad up and give her dog away when she's not home. Seriously, I could never live with this girl, I don't care if she has tons of hoem problems, she's a selfish b***h. scream

People are ugly!!! Lol, and yes, I have NO nipples! ZERO NIPPLES! I wish I had no nipples anyhow, I can't even stand my own. I've learned to like more and more of the female form over the years, but that's the one thing I just can't get past as of yet. Because I guess that's the thing, I'm okay with man nipples. They are small and inoffensive, even when they are perky they aren't uber noticeably perky. That's when I really dislike them.

Not boobs, just nipples! Although I did used to be afraid of the whole boob, but I've learned to accept the boob, still disturbed by nipples though. It's my thing, leave me alone!

I tried swim suit bottoms but I liked that even less. I think I'd maybe be okay with the shorts if I had different boots, I dunno, they materials just don't look right together though the shape pattern thing works.

I did realise I forgot to comment on the image before I shut down the computer, but I thought the first one is good. Second one is better although it has nipples, I fear nipples!! Hahaha, oh but yea I have no ideas about blank space. Didn't even know you were going to try and draw my avi but it is cute. I'm also glad that it's really just from the waste up because those shorts are ugly and don't really work with those boots. I need new clothes! But too lazy, even if in Gaia I have money, unlike the real world.

Also the Xbox thing, I googled and it seems straightforward to change a password so I don't see why you can't. Are you trying to do it on the Xbox? Maybe it'd be easier to log into your account online on a computer and make changes from there? That'd be really stupid if you have to call. Xbox Live is stupid, I thought about getting an Xbox one day if I ever have money (not the One of course) again but nope.

So sleepy...in short:

It was like to your scalp short, as in nothing was hanging, nothing to brush and nothing to style. I don't know how to explain it. There is nobody I can think of irl that you'd know that has hair that short. I think the reason it's in my mind is I gave one of my Freeplay sims a similar hairstyle.

Murder and stuff is fascinating. Although conflicted on punishments. I mean yes I understand insanity, not developed but at the same time I don't think other people should be in danger because you can't control yourself. Plus life punishes you for stuff that's not your fault all the time, stuff that didn't result in someone else losing their life. So yea, of two minds about it.

I've never been to Yosemite in my life, so unless you met Twain Harte I don't think I was about for the reading of that story.

K, will try to say more later but I didn't sleep last night so really need to pass out now. Gnite.

The app is not the only way I can use it but on campus I tend to be on my tablet rather than a computer quite frequently. Plus getting notifications about Facebook is usually the reason I make the effort to find a computer and get on Facebook, but I don't get notifications for Gaia.

I don't know how well a professional Facebook would work, I mean you can clean up the one you have but Facebook is something you have to add people to to use in a professional sense (or make the whole thing public), it's why professional Twitter has kind of worked out but Facebook's professional aspect is usually pages. If you have a business or professional identity you make a page not a profile. However that really is usually very restrictive to professional identity only, not professional identity + social use. Most people who make a second just abandon their first. I deleted a lot of people's second accounts (that weren't usually under their real names) but then they made it their main account, but nobody I was close enough to be bothered to add back unless they'd message me from their main one saying 'yea I don't use this add the other one.'

I had really kinda ******** up dreams too the last few nights, in one I yelled at my mom and in another one people were being turned into various monkey's. I had one that you were in but I can't really remember it. All I remember is you were walking to work, so I guess in my dream you still worked at Treeview except it can't be in the past because you had really short hair (like cropped short, I don't think you've ever had it as short as you did in the dream).

Unless your England friend changed his mind because he said 'so we're going to have sex yea?' and you said 'no,' then I don't think it's necessarily he's only interested in using you. Yea he maybe prioritized a girl he was interested in but everyone does that. If it was the former that sucks. As for Kevin that'd probably piss me off, can you change your password? Then you don't have to confront him and it'd be a pretty d**k move for him to ask you for your new password (which at least would open up the doors for confrontation). Because yea, that doesn't seem very cool but I also understand not wanting to make things awkward over something that seems kind of innocuous.

I'm pretty bad with online only friends, I've only had two where it's worked out to be people I can actually talk to rather than 'hey, how goes it, *insert more small talk here*.' Guess that's why I didn't get too heavily involved in Gaia once we stopped talking and Beth, Jill and people stopped using this (not that they ever used it much).

PMs might work better, but I dunno. You can see the previous comment (atm I have a second tab open to go back and forth) but then it gets to this having to remember to delete messages out or it becomes a conversation noodle. I guess if it's ever personal pm, if not wall blather works?

I need to go to bed but I know I'll never remember to reply once I click that notification, so sorry if I missed stuff. Oh, 'I'm fine thank you, how are you?' rofl

Good luck on the hiatus, I will warn you that when I'm busy I only check Gaia every 3-4 days. I'm used to only using this to roleplay now and when I'm stressed I'm not up to roleplaying so I don't bother checking, plus Gaia is not a very friendly app (and you can't check guilds via the app so it's useless for the main function I'd even want a Gaia app). So if you ever desperately need anything I guess email? I have been pretty good about checking this daily recently so maybe that'll keep up...maybe.

Also it's pissing me off today by being very laggy! And it's seriously just Gaia though I don't know why. Facebook loads fine, email loads fine, memes load fine, everything else loads fine. Just this either refuses to load at all or takes 5 minutes to move between pages. I'm technically only adding this last bit after trying to get the above to post for about 5 minutes now. Maybe you'll never actually get to see this. Stupid Gaia!
