Ohhh, wow xD Poor guy. Delilah does that when she wants down, dives off. Because she knows I'll catch her. You kind of have to start them off really young, just set them on your shoulder when you're doing normal stuff around the house. Or wear a hoodie so they can hang out in the hood.

I've had Delilah for almost two years now. So, she's had a lot more time to get to know me, and how she should behave. I also have Abby, who rides on my shoulder when I leave the house to go somewhere. Jamie, who hates when I touch her and doesn't like to be messed with, but it a sweetheart to other rats. And then Serenity, who loves everyone, everything, and also would always rather be riding on my shoulder. Or to be cuddled, either one.

xD I do the same thing! Delilah will waddle across the room, sit beside me, and fold her hands into her lap patiently if I have candy. If I don't share, she'll reach out and pat my leg to get my attention, then fold her hands again. If I continue to not share, she grabs a handful of my clothing and tugs on it. And it keeps going until she climbs up onto me and pulls on my piercings, squeaking xD She's amazing.

That's awesome that he squeaks to let you know. I'm so glad he's chilled out, I was hoping he would. Aren't they adorable when they eat with their hands sitting on their hind legs? Oh man.

If I were you... I dunno. I would talk to her. I mean jeeze, she can't need much convincing, the guys an a*****e. If she won't leave him... I don't know what to tell you, we can't control our friends and you definately can't be hearing that idiot all the time just because you're friends with her and she "dates" him.

Man, If I were in the same room when that guy was talking all that s**t to you, I would have messed him up so bad his mouth wouldn't have been able to talk s**t ever again.

I hope things stay "cool" over there. Because I don't like to hear bullshit like that happening to you :-/ wtf. That guy has no respect for anyone but himself, and it makes no sense since he probably deserves no respect.

Candy isn't bad, unless your particular rat turned out to have an allergy. Basically whenever I eat - soup, a sandwich, fried chicken, pancakes, eggs - I share with my ratters. Candy is no exception, I just keep it minimal. Give them each a little piece now and then.

My rat Delilah, is an absolute candy whore -.- Especially chocolate, though. If she thinks I have chocolate, she'll run up my pantleg and then make her way to my shoulder to pull on my piercings until I share.

Once actually, during the night, I woke up to find her on my chest. Their cage is across the hall, and I never let them out during the night. But somehow she'd escaped and found me in bed.
I picked her up and carried her back to her cage, only to find an entire stack of candy in the left corner of it. All the candy was still in the wrapper, except for a mini hershey bar she'd already eaten. She was hording it, lol. Apparently before she decided to wake me up she'd been scouring my room for candy. Didn't touch chips, or drinks. Just stole all the candy.

All that happened to you and you just took it? I think you could have even called the police by then, "some crazy mother ******** is shouting the most insulting things I have ever heard in my life, and I am scared for my life over here." and then the police would have took his a** away. You're too easy on scum like him.

So how's your friend? Is she still all, "But I like this guy" even though the a*****e is with whoever he wants to be with?
