I have to admit; I had to look that word up. Also, I was going more along the lines of because, in perfection, human life would be meaningless, since everything would have been accomplished at that point. However, in imperfection, you can always move forward.

Imperfection is better. Mankind wouldn't be able to survive in perfection. We're not mentally equiped for it.

True...I didn't really think of that. There's also Yin and Yang, but I'm not sure if that's something that would give the O actual significance. But, tell me, why do you seem to prefer perfection over imperfection?

O is a circle. A circle is the most well known symbol of perfection. That is why the O is so important.
