Here's the thing though... many people have misconceptions about how things are done. Like, the way I saw chickens killed, thats illegal. There is a specific way, called "culling" that kills them with minimal pain and duration involved. Basically, and Im sorry im explaining this, but there's a spot behind their head you put your thimb on, and basically break their neck, but it has the effect of turning of a light with a switch. Much less painful to the chicken that to wring its neck.

Anad no, you dont sound like a dork. I like your ideas smile I really hate the extremes people have onboth sides, the meat eaters and the anti meat eaters. And some vegetarians are hypocrtical. They say its wrong to eat an animal, but they eat fish. Fish are animals to.

Here's how I see it. Animals fight to survive, as all creatures do, all animals, especially humans, do this and try to come out on top. My view is that it is fine to eat meat. But, it is wrong to look down upon the creatures you feed from. Many people think animals are below them beause they arent human. Well, humans are animals to. Really, people should thank the animal that the food came from. Not liek vocally sayi8ng "thank you"

Its kind of what most people hear when they hear about Native AAmerican tribes and how they viewed animals. The animals fought for survival, I cognratulate them on making it this far, and I thank them for the meal. And for anyone who says that no one should eat animals, I say this. What about animals themselves? If no one were to eat cow, or deer, or fish, or chickens, some other animal would. In fact, chickens eat each other. So do fish. So really, it shouldnt be a "they're animals, leave em aloen" thing. All we need to eb sure to do is respect them and try to be good about killing them. Not like some people do... I used to live on a chicken farm, so I saw the way some people killed chickens...

Oh a veggie-head! I am kidding... what is your reason for going to the vegetarian side of things? Nutritional? Religous? Moralistic?... and what exactly are your rules regarding meat?

Personally, I eat meat, but I highly respect those that can make up their own minds on those things. Personally, people make me ashamed to say that I eat meat, the way they look at animals. But thats just me. Anyway, cool profile layout!
