Here's an advice, wait until thursday to buy it. It will go down since people will start lowering them if it finished evolving. If not, buy it right before it evolves, maybe lower than it is now.

Sorry but I can't give it back if I don't want to.

You made your mistake and checked you needed to check the confirmation page before submiting your item into the MP.
And it wasn't for 38000 it was for 3800, you missed a zero.
