It was like -20C here last week. That's about -4F. Everyone tells me that it's warm for this time of year. This week, it's been even warmer. Only about -10C.

You've come to the right person, m'dear!

The cosplay is a good idea, but you're already getting her the dress, so, if she's someone who might get offended by two sets of clothing, lay off it. It's kind of difficult for me to help, for I don't know her, but I'll try. Let's see... If she's into writing (also a sketch one would work, too, but I bet she already has a lot of those), a nice journal would be a great gift. And when I say nice, I mean nice. You can get them cheap but great. I'm not sure if she's into it, but you can always get her something "cool". I guess that people think it's more of a guy thing, but you can get freakin' awesome hot sauces. You're probably not... If you're near Toms River, NJ, USA, I could get some to you.

Hmm... Other than that, a strong, but unique, wooden box for art stuff would be great. You know how, when you're younger, you always get those plastic boxes with the crayons and markers in them? You can get wooden ones like that for an O.K. price, and, that way, she'll have the perfect thing to put all her good pencils and paints in. If you get that, my suggestion is to get a piece of cloth that matches it to put on the bottom. Hmm.... my last suggestion? Maybe a wooden decoration that you guys can paint together or something. That'd be cute xD Okay, so, maybe that's too corny... I'll shut up now xP

I completely agree. It would have hurt to find out that the child's mother didn't want her. I'm just happy that nothing really dramatic happened. (haha, I don't mind you talking that way about your sister. I have an older brother whom I'd love to say that about, but he's not. He's just obnoxious, dangerous, and, uh... kind of retarted even though he has the IQ of a genius, literally)

I guess... if that's the case, you're probably not against the Morning After Pill. Just in case you don't know what that is, it is a pill that a woman takes the morning after having sex if she's pretty sure that she is pregnant. The pill flushes all signs of a child away.

At her age, though, I can understand why she doesn't want to give birth to the child. It is always the hardest decision the first time you're pregant because you don't know what is going to happen. My mom, for example, didn't have any problems because she said her period ended up being worse than child birth ( stressed WHY did I have to inheirit her periods >>'' ), but others that she knew had an extremely hard time. Just mentioning a C-Section to a kid could get a seriously "Gak" response. A lot of kids her age really can't think that deeply into it or else they'll get scared. So, what's the easier way out? Abortion. No babies ripping through your private parts, no large scars on your abdomin, no child to take care of, no papers to sign. Simple.

I think she's assuming that that is the easiest way out. I mean, even though she says that, (and I don't know her, so I probably shouldn't be talking) how do you know that it's not just an excuse because she doesn't want to admit that she's scared?

Are you against abortion or no? I'm OK with it. I can understand it if there's a situation where you really can't take care of the baby, or the baby is going to kill you, but I'd rather teenagers get an abortion than flush the baby down the drain. That's what they used to do--If a teenager gave birth to a baby, they would just birth it themselves (on the toilet) and then flush it or let it drown until someone else found it. I remember that I had a debate about it with some other girls on the NJ Walkabout, 2009, but they refused to listen to whatI had to say and kind of stormed out of the conversation. I also think that I'd rather see a baby aborted instead of going through abuse or neglect.

Pretty good. I have a lot of projects to do, so I don't want to start RPing, and the last thread I tried to make as a cafe for motivation (more to help me than anyone else, hehe... ) in the writers' forum got shot down before it was finished because I named it "Inspiration Cafe" (for lack of a better title). They all said that they already had the Think and Tank thread. I just wish they could have been a tad more civil about it--like PMing, perhaps, with a question about what it was going to be about instead of dissing a thread that wasn't even finished. *sighs* but my problems are nothing compared to yours. I'm just bored now.

Note to Self: Do not make any threads in the Writers' Forum. Every single one has been shot down and flamed. My first contest, my cafe, my "opinions" one about a story that I was determined to pull off (and still WILL if I get a chance just to piss them off), and several others. *sighs*

Well, actually, I'm not too shocked. There are about 3 girls who were pregant in my school by the time they were 12. Seriously. If you're going to have sex, at least take the morning after pill the morning after v.v' I mean, I doubt the world is going to end if you tell an older friend that you can confide in to get you it.

How is everyone taking it..? I know that my aunt took it... OK when my cousin got pregant at 15 (and is now 19/20 and pregant again), but I can't talk, for I've never been in that situation. (<---only has an older brother who was finally kicked out after... alot)
