Go History

Started playing Go(WeiQi/Baduk) in 2002, when I was 20. I played a buddy of mine (z0rk) and I ended up playing on KGS under the name Endymion (name now belongs to someone else), and after a few months, I entered the Cotsen Open in LA as a 20 kyu, where I met Yilun Yang 7p. I began to learn from Mr. Yang on KGS unil I was about 15 kyu. A few months later, my buddy and I ended up at the LA Go Club where we met Jeong in Jong, AGA 9 dan. I learned from him for nearly a year, doing tsumego, memorizing pro games (5 at a time), and playing handicap games with him. I reached AGA 1 dan before moving to Japan for three months (And played a lot less Go than I wanted to while I was there... I think I played 5 games in Japan).

When I came back, I didn't have much time for Go, so I stagnated until just recently. Last year I entered the Cotsen Open as a 1 dan and got 3rd place in my division, also attaining the rank of AGA 2 dan. Eventually I hope to make enough money to get back into official classes so I can play in the Cotsen Open as a 6 dan or above.

On KGS I now play as Krayle (2k), but most of my time is spent replaying professional games.

Thay have to make a living though, so it's understandable. Thanks for the Go Seigin stuff, I'll check that out right now.
