Scarlet went inside and they went into the private dining room in the back. She looked into her cuff and pulled out a die. "If I roll a certain number... I get a power. It drains me pretty good but I can't activate without rolling." She said shrugging.

"It's weird." She said.

"I doubt it... There's.. something weird about my powers." Scarlet said as she walked towards a bistro in the corner. It was owned by her father's good friend and they could talk or hide out there if necessary.

"My name's Scarlet.. what's yours?"

Scarlet pulled her stockings up and nodded. "might if we talk somewhere..." She pushed her hair behind her ear.

"...Private?" She asked. "I wish I could learn my magic more naturally." Scarlet sighed, she probably shouldn't have trusted this guy but she wanted to talk now.

Scarlet nodded and a man behind her yelled 'HEY' Scarlet's hair seemed like it stood on end. "Hey Johnny you know you owe it to my dad. You can just get out of here." She said putting her hand on her chest. She should have brought more dice. The man she called Johnny pulled out a crowbar.

"Youze hidin' with civvies now? Not smart."

Scarlet looked up at him. The guy didn't seem like any old civilian. "I think we should do." She said really not wanting to get hit with the crowbar that was coming closer to her.

"Some ugly mugs want a piece of me.." Scarlet said softly. She looked at herself and wondered if she could have implied they wanted her sexually. In fact she stole an artifact from them and she didn't want to give it back.

"Sorry about that." She said putting her finger on her lips and winked at him.

Scarlet peeked around the corners of the alleyways and she looked scared. She pulled her red wig off to run the men who were chasing her off her trail. "Damn.." She said as she ran. She was in a ritzy black dress and looked like she worked in the casino, which she did.

She looked into her cuff. She only had one die left and looked down the street. No one was going to help her. She didn't want to use the last of her magic right in front of everyone but she couldn't help but dodge around people. She ran right into someone. "Geez.. Sorry." She said trying to help herself up. Why'd she have to dress so flashy at work..

Traci listened to what Nick had to say before replying. "No need for pointless traveling Nick. If you are already at the Watchtower then I will meet you there. Agreed, the sooner the better. I will be there within the hour." Probably less than that, she needed to get ready for the day before she got there. At least getting dressed for the day did not take her too long, unlike some girls that take f-o-r-e-v-e-r. It was not long until Traci Thirteen arrived at the Watchtower.
