Nope. It was the same format 'or whatever you call graphic quality' as Silver, but the team/Pokemon quality was similar to Sapphire graphics.

Totally, with all the Pokemon too! Too bad no one has made it yet. Pokemon Crater tried but got shut down.

Ah yeah! Definably biggrin and better combination of Pokemon types too. Although I think they should've stopped with the 3rd gen. The programmers should make a game with all four areas, like in the Gold/Silver series.
