That's a good point! But I also liked the notion of watching what we say, and the emotional actions we take against God and fellow man. If we want to have pure souls we should try to speak with love. That's what I liked about that bit.

You are reminding me of my favorite saying of Christ, "I tell you, it is not what goes into your mouth that defiles you: It is what comes out of your mouth." I have to remember that. And I'm sure I'm misquoting it slightly. smile

Hey, I was going to post this in that homosexuality thread but it felt like spamming. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your consideration and the thoughtful and open way you approach these controversial topics from your perspective. You are going a long way to repair the image of Christians and religious people in general. So keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading anything of yours I come across in the future. smile
