I have it but I don't need the gold so I'm not selling it.
But you can now sell your one for 900k and up and buy the 3rd gen, therefore you still get profit.
And even when it finishes evolving, the one that is still in the cash shop would still be sold around 500k-600k.

Oh it's up to you, since it's a regular EI it's slow to evolve.
But once it finishes evolving, it may go up to 1 mil (depending on the item's looks).
Therefore you can sell it for 1 mil and buy the cheapest gen for 600k, therefore = around 400k profit.
