She moved here in her early 40's. I can't imagine how it was like for her.
I agree with you on the racism.
It's kinda of insane.
I'm glad I live in the North however, because racism is more blatant down South I think.

My mom cooks the stuff sometimes and I'm trying to learn so when I live by myself I can cook it.
You have to really search to find decent spices and stuff, I agree.
I didn't get to go to duns river when I went back and I was really young when I left Jamaica. crying
