I'm known as Lizzie by my friends, but my family calls me by my middle name (Ashley). I'm actually really very new to this whole Gaia site, it was recommended to me by my aunt, Heather. She says it's like anime myspace, haha. Well i'm 15 and i'm really into photography :] I need ALOT of help figuring out this website, so volunteers are welcome!
Hey you! You did sign up! Well, i'd be happy to tell you or explain things or what not. It is a little like what the heck when you first sign up, but after you kinda get the hang of it it's really kind of addicting. Well, for me it is anyways. lol. First things first, you should got activate your account by clicking on the link that they send to your e-mail address (the email addy that you signed up with), that way you can recieve messages(or little email things), from friends and people.
Then, you can go get you a house and a car by clicking My Gaia. You can also shop for clothes in the stores.
A few ways to get money are clicking on the dailey lotterys on each page (home, my gaia, community, games, world, gstore) Sometimes they're items, and other times they're money and such. Click around to get the feel of everything, you can get money just by surfing around. Also, the first time of each day you'll get 50gold just for posting in a thread in the forumns, 14gold for the first thread poll vote you do, 9 gold or so for the first arena avi vote (which is in the arenas under communit), then 40g for the first profile comment you make of the day, and leave a comment in the gaia arenas for 14gold too. Also, you can play the jigsaw puzzles for more gold too..
Most people go to tektek.org to create a dream avi, so they know exactly what they want their avi to look like but me, i'm kind of a go with the flow.. whatever i think is cute type. lol. Chris is an example of a dream avi person.. he went and chose exactly what he wants his avi to look like, and then figured out how much money he needs to complete it, then is raising the money- mostly through me. lol.
erm... that's probably way too much for your first explanations.. but try all that stuff and see how it works out.. also you can get cute profiles at tektek.org for you gaia. ^____^
